The 1st day of SD @HT, and I was feeling abit sickly..still when all was said and done..I did the dance..right in line...bought $72 and OOP 2.14!!  Turns out the flu was knocking on my door..and I've been down for the count.  Wanting to feel better sooo bad and get back to HT for more DEALS!...but it just wasn't so.  TRying to get myself together and back maybe tomorrow...I'm loving your site...thanks for all of your hard work.  Where do you get the zip binder?...I tried to get it from the site listed here, but it allowed me to register and sign in, but that was it...

I went to both Harris Teeter and Lowes Food.  I saved  about 60 % at both stores.  I may go to HT again today with some new coupons.  I love saving money!!

I went to Harris Teeter in Cary @ Tryon.  Paid about $20 after sales & coupon. Would have been over $80 before.  I was also able to use $10 off $40 that I got from HT by mail.

Think we are lucky to have 2 events at the same time and that they last the whole week. In the "old" days they just lasted 3 or 4 days so little chance of getting any cheap stuff, but now there is at least a hope of a restock. Also want to thank the staff who always seem to be willing to work with couponers. Long may it continue

We got into town from Boston on Saturday night, so we had a little bit of time to gather up some coupons.  I was a little disappointed with this trip, but I guess we did okay for not having much time to research.  We got cottonelle wipes (had a kimberly-clark coupon for $2), Dawn 9oz detergent, Dawn 20oz hand renewal, 2 yakisobas, febreze spray, v8 fusion smoothie, waggin train dog freshies, secret deodorant,  crest, 2 aquafresh, stouffer's family size, dannon oikos, yoplait 2 pk w granola.  Coupons tendered=42.02 and my total was $6.51.  Stouffer's was the most expensive item at 2.99 after coupons!

I finally had some luck at Lowe's Foods and was able to get the Smart Balance milk for free...was able to get 2 containers. Yay!

HT and Lowes both having super doubles in the same week can really make a person tired but oh so much fun--I have done several shops and all have gone well and I had no issues with any of my coupons but did with ZVR but HT fixed it right up with no problem--Now I would like to have a triples event--LOL

Spent $25.47. Saved $13.84 with my Vic card and saved $55.84 using coupons. Not bad :).  All of my coupons went through except for the Secret Deodorant. Neither my e-vic or regular coupon worked.  The manager overrode the $1 (doubled) coupon, but I wasn't able to use my $1 e-vic. They were out of the Febreeze car fresheners at the HT @ Chatham Downs.  Here are the items I bought:

Campbell's Skillett Sauce (I know this was free at LF..but didn't want to drive there :), 2 McCormick shakers, 2 McCormick season packets, Equal, Kraft Homestyle, Oxy Clinical treatment pads (GREAT deal on these!), Men's vitacraves, Dove Bodywash, V8 smoothie, Secret Deodorant, Smithfield smoked sausage, OM Center cut bacon (my HT only had 3 packages left!), Folgers gormet carmel drizzle K-Cups, and a Shick Quattro Styler . 

We plan on going back tomorrow to buy our typical groceries, and I have some great coupons to match!  Thank you Amy for introducing me to couponing during the last HT Super Doubles!!

I only used two coupons on two products today at HT, but spend less than $3 and saved about $7. Happy about that!

I feel like I'm a bit late to this party, but... :-)

Went to HT this morning for my second SD trip so far. Spent $9.53 OOP and saved $78.84! I'm WAY pleased with that. Had a RC for SB milk, so got 3 half gallons for free (my favorite price); also had a RC for Honey Nut Cheerios that I used, which isn't included in the savings above, and had a couple of lower-value coupons that were about to expire. Got free ham steaks, free nectresse sweetener, even one more free Truvia. Got cheap bacon and Stove Top stuffing, and a couple of those Stouffers casseroles that we love so much. Very pleased with this morning's outing.

Thursday's senior shop was $11.44 OOP and savings of $47.87. That was pasta day for me -- stocked up for the local food bank (and thanks to the great coupon angel who offered me one of her coupons so I could max out at 3 coupons for that product!), along with a free Kraft mac and cheese, and some of the Barilla meals. My "expensive" items on that shop were cheeses -- I've been wanting to try the mini Babybel cheese, so the vic special and ZVR lined up nicely for that, and I bought some of the Parmesan Reggiano that others have raved about. A small chunk was $3.92 (less the 5% senior discount) instead of the $9.80 it was marked.

I'm heading back to HT tomorrow for round 3, since I used all 20 of my double-able coupons this morning, and didn't get all the way through my list. :-)

Like one person already said "not great but not shabby" I ditto that. My one gripe they were of course out of 95% of the free items. Reall wanted to get the Truvia and nectresse for my father in law. Got decent deals though at both HT and LF

I did a quick Lowes and got 3 Kix, 3 pasta, 3 Dole jc., 2 cinnamon.  Was excited for the prices but there was no Smart milk left.  I went back today and still no milk

At HT I spent 128.31 and saved 111.59.  That included 5 packs of chicken breast, 2 brats, 2 sausage, 4 London Broil and 2 large packs Stew beef.  Was super happy with the flour and sugar for the evic!  Got the secret deo and 2 Kraft micro mac & cheese for free.  Was mad at myself for forgetting to make sure the cashier used the coupon on the blue bunny ice cream but might go back to the store to see if they will make good on that.

Went to both stores. At HT got 96.00 worth of groceries, paid 17.07!!! Loaded up on cinnamon & sage, smithfield sausages, ground pork, campbells skillet sauces, secret deodorant, got the meal deal, etc. Used 19 coupons plus a $5.00 Kroger coupon.

At Lowes, got 46.00 worth of groceries for 23.00, including free smart balance milk, dole juices for 50 cents, quaker oatmeal, 50 cents, etc.

Once I found out about Super Doubles at Harris Teeter starting this week, I was getting all my coupons ready. I had a great list ready, and was awake bright and early Wednesday morning!

I got everything I wanted except Suave lotion, which I got a rain check for.  My total started at about $65 and came down to about $17. It's an ok price, but it wasn't the correct price. I saw that the 2 boxes of Rice Krispies cereal that bought rang up at full price($3.59) instead of the $1.99 sale price! 0_0 Wow, I never knew cereal was soooo expensive. I only tend to buy it on sale. Turns out the sale tag was old, but they gave me the first box free and the second one at the sale price. Bundle that with the $1/2 Rice krispy cereals, I got two 12oz boxes of Rice Krispies for free! Now, I need to find some marshmellow peeps on sale to make rice krispy treats. :)

Anywho, that brought my total price down some more, but then I remembered that I forgot my two $2/1 smithfield ham coupons, which brought my total to $4.33. I was a very happy camper that's now stocked up with lots of Thanksgiving meat. ^_^

Harris Teeter is our go to store for e-vic and vic specials as we don't have a Lowes near us.

My mini couponer (less than 1 year old) and I did great the first day and pretty well today. I think I had around 90 percent savings the first day. WOOHOO! Thank you for all your hard work! :D

I had a few coupon helps.

• My Kraft coupon printed as $1 off, not $1.50. :(
• If you got the evic, buy 2 of the Campbell's Skillet Sauces and you get $2 off which will make them both freeeee...assuming you have 2 coupons to use. :)
• If you got the evic, there are $1 off coupons in the 10/28 P&G  for Tampax & Always and the evic is $1 each kind of the 3 coupons as well. I'll have to check tomorrow to see if there's any good sale on them.
• The meal deal this week is $8.99 for Jimmy Dean Sausage Biscuits, Simply Potatoes, HT eggs, and Tropicana OJ...and there's a coupon for $.55 off JD Products in the 10/7 RP. That'll make the meal deal $7.89 if the coupon doubles. :)

Woohoo! Managers Special on Premium Ground Beef 80/20 for $.99/lb at my HT.  I spent $33.64 and got:

30 lbs of ground beef, (2) Nutrigrain bars, (3) kelloggs fruit snacks, (4) 2liters of Sprite, (9) boxes of Muellers pastas, (1) kraft Macaroni bowl, (1) febreeze car freshners, (1) rice krispies treat, (3) buitoni pasta, (1) sambazon, (2) Nestles Ultimates cookies (1) Hot Dog Buns,

I'm ready to take advantage of the fantastic price on Pampers Diapers at HT!! Thanks for the head up Centsible Saver! I hope they have some left when I hit my local store in the morning!  Keep up the good work!!

Went to Harris Teeter because it was closer. May try Lowe's later this week. Spent $36.80, saved $69.80 which included $5/$50 from Krogers and ZVR's which had to be manually added as they did not come off. Used 20 coupons that doubled plus 2 Catalina's that didn't. Found most of what I wanted but a few things were out. Also had a few more coupons I could have used but was at my limit, so I may go back another time.

Harris Teeter is always my choice for convenience and customer service.
I shopped today around noon and only had coupons for free cinnamon and 2 bags of sugar. They substituted Domino for the advertised special and still accepted my coupon. I'll take that any day over a rain check. I got BOGO chicken and stew beef, and Ore Ida sweet potato fries, sale priced turkey meat balls, ham steak, Blue Bunny Cones and Cabot Greek Yogurt. Saved $42.

Register dropped from $174 down to $52. Woman behind me was spellbound. V8 Frusion smoothies BOGO plus $1Q made for 2 botles at about 75 cents each. Suave, MCCormick, Silk Fruit & Protein, Reach, great ceral deals too. I was happy to have the EVIC deals on holiday baking supplies too,. along with coupons that matched several of those items. Will stop by today to use my senior discount on produce, meat and fish. Harris Teeter + coupons save me over $2000 ever year.

I hit both stores and did well. It takes time and some planning, but it is so worth the effort !

I am most excited about stocking up on Smithfield Ham Steaks and ground pork. I picked up 3 ham steaks yesterday and 3 ground pork. This morning I was able to pick up 3 more ground porks. Ham steaks and smoked sausage were all out of course. <3 Stocking up on meat for dirt cheap!! Thanks HT!
