This deal may not be free, but it's a bargain that folks across the Triangle will be standing in line for on Thursday.
Jimmy John's sub shops will be selling sandwiches for $1 in the Triangle, and if the turnout is anything like last year's event, be prepared for crowds out the door and around the corner.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can score an 8-inch sub for a buck. Take you pick from No.1 through No. 6.
Instead of the usual $4.75, you'll pay $1 in honor of Customer Appreciation Day. But you have to come and get it yourself. The deal is not good on deliveries.
All locations in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and Fayetteville are participating.
Which is your favorite Jimmy John's sandwich?

May or may not be worth it
Wed, 10/03/2012 - 11:24 — chandler0201Tried to go to the Hillsborough St location in Raleigh and the line was already 40 deep at 10:50. I guess it depends on how much your time is worth in regards to this deal. However, I bet the lines will not be as bad this year because it is no longer "free".
