I went to the Apex store near my home about 8 this morning. This time around, I didn't go after many of the freebies, focusing instead on pricier items.
I was also lucky enough to find a wine tag coupon for $1 off meat which I used on the BOGO London Broil sale. So definitely keep a look out for wine tags at your stores because I've seen a LOT of them lately.
Here's what I bought and the coupons I used:
2 8-packs of Diet Pepsi. Store coupon and manufacturer coupon.
4 Kraft cheese packages. Store coupon and manufacturer coupon.
10 Yoplait Greek Yogurt. Two printable $1/5 coupons.
2 Barilla meals. Two newspaper insert coupons.
3 Ritz Bits. Three coupon booklet coupons.
2 Nutella. Two newspaper insert coupons.
1 Turkey Hill ice cream. One newspaper insert coupon.
1 Energizer batteries. One newspaper insert coupon.
1 London Broil. One wine tag coupon found in the store.
I paid $18.36 for $88.30 in groceries, an 80 percent savings.
I'll also get a $1 SavingStar.com credit for the yogurt, which also earned me a 10-cent discount on gasoline, which I used immediately, saving me another $1.50.
