I'll go first.
I was at my HT in Apex at about 6:20 a.m. and was surprised to see only a handful of coupon shoppers.
I was able to pick up everything I wanted and checked out shortly after 7 a.m. There were a couple of glitches -- my digital E-VIC coupons didn't work, for instance -- but customer service was terrific and gave me cash back.
Here's what I bought:
3 Caribou coffees
3 Finish dishwasher tabs
3 Barilla microwave meals
2 Activia yogurts
2 Kashi cereals
2 Kashi soft bars
2 Stonyfield yogurts
1 Febreze Set and Refresh
1 Febreze car clip
1 Gillette Shave Prep
1 Heinz gravy
Total before coupons and store discounts: $106.36
Total after coupons: $15.39
Percentage saved: 86 percent

74% savings...Not nearly as
Thu, 03/07/2013 - 11:43 — jjtn1774% savings...Not nearly as good as most "first" days, but I got the things I was most excited to get first this time. :)
did ok
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 23:03 — mothar1I spent 12.16 and saved 45.99. I missed getting last weekend's paper since I was out of town, so major bummer! I got:
3 Finish powerball
2 Lance cracker creations - .50 with ip
2 Heinz gravy - free with ip
2 Yoplait greek yogurt - zvr didn't come off and I let it go
2 Sunbird seasoning packets - free with ip
1 pork chops - used 1.00 ip
2 Alexia frozen veggies - used 1.00 ip
1 Hawaiian Punch Aloha 6 pack - used 1.10 ip
Got there around 8 am and they were out of the Kashi soft and chewy, probably due to the free Stonyfield yogurt offer
Kashi/Stonyfield combo
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 09:45 — csumner6The Kashi/Stonyfield combo deal (free 6oz yogurt when you buy 2 boxes of Kashi cereal or bars) - does that ring up seamlessly?
The Kashi/Stonyfield deal
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 10:30 — AmyDunn (author)The Kashi/Stonyfield deal did not work as it was supposed to but customer service gave me the cash back, along with my digital coupon money.
THE KASHI/STONYFIELD DEAL
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 13:36 — csumner6Thanks for the tip, Amy. Is it a HT deal, or Kashi deal? I don't know the source of the combo deal. Sorry to be picky, just want to be informed if I have to ask customer service.
No worries. It's in the ad.
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 13:48 — AmyDunn (author)No worries. It's in the ad. On the inside page. I didn't see it offered at any of the other stores so I'm guessing it's an HT deal.
Thank you, Amy!

I was at HT on Falls at 6:15
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 09:29 — hayesc1I was at HT on Falls at 6:15 & found just about everything i wanted. They didn't have the Soft Scrub size mentioned on sale and i also noticed i picked up the wrong Purex 18 count that rang up $4.99 which i didn't catch until i got home. So Amy, the 26 pack bag is cheaper than the 18? But overall, you can't beat the savings you get w/coupons. I'm just blown away everytime and could kick myself for not starting sooner. Also this HT doesn't have a very big beauty section so i hope to go to another Ht to find the Covergirl/Maybelline deals. Any suggestions as to which one to visit for those deals?
From what I could tell on
Wed, 03/06/2013 - 10:33 — AmyDunn (author)From what I could tell on the shelves of my store (in Apex) and on Express Lane, it was the Mountain Breeze Purex only.
As for a bigger beauty selection, I would say the newer stores but don't have any specific stores to recommend. Anyone out there have any suggestions?
