Frozia, a new frozen yogurt shop at Durham's Streets at Southpoint, will hold its grand opening this weekend -- with freebies for customers.

Then next week, Frozia's owners Mo Rafiq of Charlotte and Bill Renton of Mooresville, will follow up with the grand opening of another venture at Southpoint, the Nestle Toll House Cafe.

Frozia, a self-serve yogurt shop, is located in the Sears wing of the mall. The Nestle Toll House Cafe is located near the food court. Both shops have opened in the last month.

For Frozia's grand opening, the first 500 customers Friday through Sunday will receive a free scoop of yogurt and the opportunity to win a year's supply of frozen yogurt.

Frozia offers 14 flavors, including pomegranate, acai, cookies and cream, cake batter, and french vanilla, along with multiple toppings such as fresh fruit, candy, brownie pieces and cheesecake pieces.

An ongoing freebie at Frozia: Guess the weight of your frozen yogurt and you get it free.

Rafiq and Renton also own the Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Hรคagen-Dazs shops at Southpoint as well as other locations in Georgia and North Carolina. They also own Planet Smoothie shops.
