Super Doubles

I went tonight ( the last night of Super Doubles) and spent $30.29 and saved $56.41, and I will get back $14.35 thru Saving Star! My biggest saviings was due to several  $2.00 Walgreens Register Rewards that doubled to $4.00. WooHoo! Very happy!

Harris Teeter Super Doubles-Love Them!

I am amazed that I save more than I spend thanks to Harris Teeter and Amy!! The Palermo e-vic on Sunday together with $1 coupons super doubled resulted in 47 cents for each of the two pizza pies. Wow!

Harris Teeter

I enjoyed shopping during super doubles. I saved a lot of money!

Super doubles

sat this one out :-(.  looks like some people got some really good deals. I went through my coupons and didn't really have anything that I really "needed" that would be a SUPER deal worth breaking my budget for. Hoping the next one will come around soon when I have a better stock of coupons.....

Harris TEETER SUPER DOUBLES

I went to Harris Teeter on Wednesday and Sunday and got a lot of the "free' items both times.  What I really found to be a bargain were the Bayer Asprin, Advil, Alka Seltzer cold medicine, and Goodys that were on markdown but still within the expiration date.  I had $2 coupons for them and they doubled.  I also got (2) Bailey's, Tabasco sauce, Yakisoba, Truvia, (3) carefree, (4) Honey Bunches of Oats..  I spent $18,25 and saved $62.87. Pretty good for a couple of trips,

HT Super Doubles

Didn't get too much this week (I'm pretty well stocked up)  Did get a few items though and saved quite a bit.  Thank you Harris Teeter- as usual your staff was pleasant and your shelves were stocked!  I LOVE HT!!!!

Not all coups doubled

Sad to learn that the coupons dispensed from those little boxes affixed to store shelves don't double.

I think that if you save

I think that if you save anything (while not hording) it is a good thing.  Congrats to all the great buys by folk.

I spent $94.00 and saved $99.00 which is a tad better than 50% off my entire order.  But since there were several things in there that I needed that were not on sale or I didn't have a coupon for I went with my per item cost which was $1.62.  Done better, yet not bad.

Very large stockpile

I have a very large stockpile; therefore, the only items purchased this week - the Febreze deals. And, I am still looking for a Swiffer Wet Jet Starter kit - have a rain check just in case.

Super Doubles

My husband I love Super Doubles!  We went twice throughout the week.  Our first trip was by far, the best we've ever done. $84.91 before savings & coupons, $10.56 after coupons!  Between our two trips, we got these items for free: Febreze Spray,  2 Gerber Grabbers, 2 Gerber Organic pouches, Scope, 4 packs of Wacky Mac, Dawn dish detergent, 2 Silk fruit & protein, Benecol spread, Gillette Custom3 razors, 2 bottles of Kens Marinade, Jello w mix ins and I can't remember if I got Total for free or not.  Thanks, HT!

We had issues both times at the Edwards Mill location with ringing up our printed coupons.  During our second trip, the manager told me that from now on, if the paper coupons do not scan, they will not be accepting them.

super doubles

Been to Harris teeter 4 times during this super doubles.  Have saved at least 50% each time -- each time I've had to buy produce or meats -- otherwise the total saved would be higher!  Love Harris Teeter!!  Going one more time today to see if I can pick up a couple of things that have been out!

Thanks!

HT Super Doubles

Went to HT last week.  Spent $64, saved $68.  I always have a list that includes more than the specials.  Any time I save at least 50%, I am happy.  I was able to get the items I had on my list (except guacamole).  Happy with my results.

Harris teeter $25 card

When ever there is a super double I go there almost every day.

I work near there and can go at lunch. I spent $40 the first day minust a few items that rang up wrong. I went to customer service and they fixed it. Despite the lunchables being tagged incorrectly the store honored the incorrect tag. The sale price was $2.67 and I had 3 $1 coupons. My savings was about $67 for my total that day.

When I went back on Sunday to get the Palermo Pizza's I got the Mardigras napkins for $1.99 minus the $.55 cent coupon from Sunday paper and minus my $.55 ZVR brought the price down to .34 cents but I mistakenly got the large size. I again went to customer service to fix the corrections. They did.

HT customer service is great!!!!!!!

Ok

I got several good deals. But I did not realize that the $10 catalina for the kraft cheeses stopped printing on Saturday. So I was very disappointed about that. I would love to win the gift card to make up for my mishap.

Good buys

I got mostly what I wanted. I only had to get 4 rain checks. Got $100 something worth for $40

Lots of freebies!

I got free cat litter, Dawn, tabasco sauce, frank's red hot, bacon, 2 yakisoba noodles that I'll donate to the food bank, 3 Svelte shakes, two Eat Think Smile bars, Neutrogena wipes, and probably something else I can't think of off the top of my head.  I also got good deals on toilet bowl cleaner, Simple face wipes and a few other necessity items.  Heading back tonight to see if I can find a store with Gain in stock!

Super doubles

scored some free Benecol spread (3.99-$2 coupon), free Tabasco, free Dawn, picked up a few boxes of cereral (.77), Hershey candy (.15), MetRx protein bars (.29), Smart Balance milk (.99), only thing not in stock was the Wholly Guacamole

Harris Teeter Souper Doubles

Would have done well if we had a HT in Smithfield, but we don't!

Super doubles

I got Kashi cereal for 27 cents a box!  It was a weekend evic special for $2.27, and I had $1/1 that doubled.  Also got some other free or almost free, and some decent deals on shampoo and mascara.

I enjoyed meeting you last week at TCE !

Giveaway

Not to many doubles this time. I had 3 $1 off cupons and 1 $2 off that doubled.

GREAT TRIP TODAY!

The HT in Wakefield had most everything I was looking for.  I used 18 Qs plus a $10/$50 I got from RecycleBank.  I spent $44.18 and saved $81.83.  I would say that was successful.

Super Doubles

Finally made it to HT today.  A lot of the free or almost free stuff was wiped out, but I still managed to spend $21 and save $38.  Here's hoping Super Doubles falls on a less busy week for me next time :)

Harris Teeter

I got to Harris Teeter by 7:00 am the morning of Superdoubles and got many good deals.  My tale of woe is that I accidently left my printable coupon for $1.00 off 3 Yoplait Greek yogurts at home and now they are sold out even though I've checked at 3 different HT's.

Harris Teeter Double Coupons

I am happy with my savings at Harris Teeter over the weekend. It took three separate trips at two different stores, but I have saved more than $65 dollars. I used quite a few $2.00 coupons and I also saved $3.00 by using Food Lion's coupons. Some of the items I was looking for were already gone. I may try yet another store tomorrow and see if I can get some more deals.

A good week for me.  Spent

A good week for me.  Spent $26 at Harris Teeter, more than half of that on a 3.6 lb. beef briskett for bbq.  I got credit for $33 worth of coupons.  Couldn't have done it without you Amy!

Harris Teeter Super Doubles

For the most part, this was a non-event for me. I picked up a few cheap items with coupons, like Ken's Dressing and Palermo Pizza, which was the best e-vic special I have seen to date - $2.47 each minus the $1.00 coupon that doubled. I took advantage of other specials, like cheap eggs and Kraft shreds, which were on sale and generated another OYNO coupon at the register, plus cheap strawberries. I also managed to find a bag of Simple Pleasures after passing through the store a second time, which was only $.15 after the doubled $2.00 coupon. All coupons scanned properly and most items were in stock or being restocked on the two trips I made since Wednesday.

Planning a Trip

I am planning to use the coupons from today's paper to hit the store tomorrow.

Thanks!

Harris Teeter

I am about to head out the door to go to my local Harris Teeter. If they have everything that I want (and the right sizes/quantities), then I should save about $50 and spend only $10ish, maybe less. I hope they have everything so that I don't have to get sad.

harris teeter

i saved over 54.00, so i was happy, got an evic for 3 svetle bottles for free, got lots of things free or almost for nothing....they were out of somethings, so i am going to back to another store. i used my rainchecks for my canned veggies for my dogs, so that was 10.00. there was a good deal on the imitation crabmeat, got to go back for milk as well. i tried to buy what was on sale, and using only coupons that were 1.00 or more....it just takes so much time though, i was in sat nite abt 10pm til 11pm....

HTSD

Due to an existing good stock level at home, I usually just nickel and dime HT each week.  But two trips this time resulted in negative balances, which allowed throwing in some extra items to get them positive.

HARRIS TETTER

I saved about 50% ! It was fun! But I hope to go back & do better!

4 trips, am I addicted?

I made 4 trips, counting today. I was thrilled with the Palermo's deal for 47 cent pizzas!
First trip, spent 22.10 saved 75, highlights were the Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizza and the Cooked Perfect meatballs again.
2nd and 3 trips, spent about 8 saved 30
Today, spent 9.39, saved 42.08.
Posting picture of today's trip now, thank you Amy for your great list as always

Super doubles

Scored a great deal on Tide with a Saturday e-vic special and a coupon.

Super Doubles

Super Doubles has been great for me this time--They seemed to have more items that matched coupons plus more things that you actually need and use such as food items. I posted my first shop on the FB page and I have gone everyday and will go on again today to the the Palermo pizzas for 47 cents that was on my EVIC. Cashiers and managment have been super great at HT and I give my thanks to them for allowing me to stock my pantry!

WAITING FOR SUNDAY COUPONS FOR SUPER DOUBLES

I haven't been able to go to HT yet, but hopefully Sunday's coupons will help make my upcoming shopping trip a success.

my trip on Friday late afternoon

This is the first time my store had all of the products available on my list and I was there late on Friday.  Way to go HT in Chatham County!!!

Groceries rang up at $76, paid only $23.

Not a bad 20 minute run through the store!!!

HT Super Doubles

I was a little bummed that my local store did not have any Simple Pleasures Chocolates!  And unfortunately, I did not clip the Ghiradelli chocolate coup either, so I am missing out on some inexpensive TREATS!  My waistline will be thanking me later for buying Cheerios and Total though!! :-)

Hope to make trip #2 tomorrow after checking the Centsible Saver blog first!! Happy Couponing!

lots of cereal

Another cereal deal I haven't seen mentioned is that Smart Start is on sale for $2.99, and I had a printable coupon for $1 off two.  Additionally, the boxes have peelies for $1 off fruit, but they don't double.  So if you're already planning to buy some fruit, (2.99 x 2) - (1 x 2) - (1 x 2) = $2 for 2 boxes of Smart Start.

Also, I found some Peppridge Farm sandwich meat tubs on sale for $3.00, with $2.00 mark-down coupons on them.  I had a $0.35 coupon off one, which doubled, so I got one for $0.30.

HT Love

"I just love Harris Teeter...  sigh...."     Thanks for the grins, Mary Beth!

", but I was too tired to think more than I already had!"   Wow, I can relate to that cawible!

Personally, I think I may have a HT savings addiction. Days 1 & 2, doubled limit of 20 Qs both days, and Day 3 doubled 18 Qs.  Planning to take today "off" (from HT) and rest my brain.  All of my coupon did double properly, and all anticipated zvr's were deducted; Yay!

Twice in the last 2 weeks, Catalinas have not printed as expected, though they did print coupons I was not interested in, so I know the machine itself was not out of ink or broken.  I'll need to e-mail the Catalina company about those offers, with copies of my receipts.

Advice for the weary (includes me): Don't forget about your Rain Checks from previous missed sales!  Keri lotion?  Met Rx protein bars?

Super Doubles

One of today's (Saturday) E-Vic specials is 50 oz Tide for $4.97.  If you use the $1.00 coupon, which doubles, you pay $3.97 each.  That's the best I seem to be able to do on getting Tide at a reasonable price.

Not bad.....

Went to my favorite HT early this morning, and hope to have a chance to make a second SD trip tomorrow. Did pretty well -- spent $25, saved $76, plus got some unadvertised freebies using rainchecks from prior weeks. Oh yeah! :-)

Only one of my coupons beeped at the register. Not sure why, as it was a newspaper coupon, and I definitely had purchased the appropriate products. No problem, the cashier (shout out to Nick!) just overrode the problem.

I was very pleased to leave the store with 4 full (reusable) bags of groceries, having used my full allotment of twenty coupons for doubling, plus a few more that weren't subject to doubling (free coupons and ones over $2).

HT Super Doubles

I generally try to go early in the morning after dropping my kids off at school. I have found that if you wait until later in the day the good deals are wiped off of the shelves.

HT Super Doubles

At the beach again for super double coupons.  I had good shopping at the HT on Carolina Beach Road.  Even with a 50 center can get Dawn detergent for free!!

Great deal on Kahiki eggrolls

I had a coupon for $1 of 1-pack of Kahiki Eggrolls.  HT has BOGO on them.  I got 1-pack of the 15 small eggroll for half price (2/$4.25)  and they double the $1 coupon, so paid only few cents.

Thanks.

beach savings

on vacation at the beach. Feeding 4 ppl. Register rang up $317 and I paid $195 out of pocket. My savings allowed us to enjoy fresh swordfish, fresh shrimp, fresh cod and steaks on the grill with plenty of snacks and all the milk we can chug! Going back tomorrow for my souvenir- tide detergent for 97cents. Love.

Loving super doubles!

This time around there seems to be so much more free stuff. I've been able to get all my freebies so far, and I hope Sunday will bring some new coupons/deals! One of the ones I was happy about was 2 half-gallons of Smart Balance milk for $2. I'm always happy when I can get cheap milk. :)

Yahoooooo! :D

Wed- 88% savings

Thurs- 85% savings

Fri- 74% savings

:D I posted a pic on the facebook page.

HT giftcard

I paid  $3.57 for almost $15 worth of Purina Cat Healthy Chow, Hershey Simple Pleasures chocolate candy (ridiculously overpriced little bag at $4.15!) , Bounty Napkins and marked down Aloutte (sp) cheese.  Had $1.50 coupon for cat food, $2.00 coupon Hershey, $1 Bounty, $1 cheese (plus 20% off specialty cheese this week), all doubled.

I always browse the specialty cheese area for the red marked down stickers.  Never had "bad" cheese yet even though near their supposed exp. date.

Returned yesterday and bought 2 Kraft shredded cheese on sale $2 each and used $1.35 coupon from Kroger, but it was manufacture coupon so it worked.  $.65 a package after coupon, not bad!

Free nail polish!

I had a good run at Super Doubles.  I went Wed. AM a little before 7:00.  One purchase I got really excited about was free Wet n Wild nail polish.  I don't think I saw that on your post, Amy.  But with a $1 coupon from last week's paper, that makes the it free.  I hadn't bought myself a new nail polish color for a while so that was a real treat.  Hopefully others can score the same deal!

Lauren

quick and easy

got in and out in less than 30 minutes with a 4 year old in tow!  And the items I was looking for were (generally) in stock.  Spent $45 and "saved" $32 (with lots of non-coupon, but on sale, purchases in there).
