A big heads up on a great deal on watermelon: Earth Fare has an email coupon available for a whole seedless watermelon for $2.
This is a great deal because the absolutely cheapest watermelon price I could find in the sales circulars this week was $3.47 at Lowes Foods.

Saturday would be a great day to pick up your cheap watermelon and check out the store at 10341 Moncreiffe Road in the Brier Creek shopping center in Raleigh
The store is having a "Founding Fathers Bash" on Saturday with $1 burgers, $1 hot dogs and $1 veggie burgers from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Firefighters, police officers and members of the armed services eat totally free from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
There will also be $2 bottles of beer, live music and prizes. The party's over at 9:30 with fireworks.
