Check your newspaper: Bonus Target ad with coupons

Bookmark and Share

Be sure to shuffle through all the sales ads in today's N&O. There's a Target insert shaped like a grocery bag that contains two coupons worth mentioning.

The first is a Target coupon for $1 off a 12 oz. package of Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

The ad says these are on sale for $1.69, making this a terrific deal already.

But if you want to work your coupons a little harder, here's another scenario:

Buy two packages for a total of $3.28.

Then use these coupons:

  • the aforementioned $1/1 Target coupon
  • the $1/2 coupon (5/15 and 6/19 Smart Source)
  • a printable Target coupon for .75/1

Final price: 53 cents for two packages of hot dogs. Of course, if you can get your hands on two of today's coupons, you'll only pay 28 cents for two packages!

The second coupon isn't quite as exciting:  $1 off Oreos, which will make a 16.6 oz. package $1.79, an OK deal.

If you want two packages, use the $1/1 coupon (6/19 Smart Source) and the Target coupon but the deal is the same: $1.79 per package.

Pie Wine tag

Just got back from my HT trip and wanted to tip everyone off to the wine tag I found.  In the Fuquay store, at the end of the aisle near the frozen foods, were wine tags for $1 off a deli pie.  Pies are BOGO this week which means w/ wine tag we pay about $2.50 for the entire pie!

That's so funny because I

That's so funny because I just got back from the HT in Apex/Cary at 55 and Highhouse and found the same wine tag. They had dozens of them right at the front door. And you're right. It makes the pie $2.50 after BOGO and Q.
