A giveaway for coupon clippers

Bookmark and Share

Did you know September is National Coupon Month?

That probably explains the multitude of coupon booklets and tear pads I've spotted in stores this month. (Be on the look out because they seem to be everywhere!)

And that's a good thing for coupon clippers because more coupons in circulation translates into more (and better) deals.

So in honor of National Coupon month, let's celebrate with a giveaway.

I've got an envelope jam packed full of coupons for groceries, health and beauty items, a FREE Chick-fil-A oatmeal and a FREE Chick-fil-A coffee, as well as two General Mills coupon booklets, tear pad coupons and a rebate for $6 on a $10 meat purchase.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment about coupons. What is your all-time best coupon deal, what coupons are you most excited about using during Triples at Harris Teeter, how much money do you typically save with coupons?

Leave any comment at all about coupons and you're entered to win. But be quick. I'll draw one name at random on Wednesday at noon and announce it on my Facebook page. That way, I can get the envelope mailed out in time for the winner to use the coupons during Triples.

I feel that I am very clever when it comes to the deals I get each week using coupons. I have to say, that I do pick up things that I would have otherwise missed, by reading your blog. You are great 1 Thank You !

COUPONS

I Love Coupons and I  Love Your Blog !!  You give good information all the time for us couponers.  Fantastic !!

Coupons make a huge savings

Coupons make a huge savings in my grocery bills!  Even more with the help of Centsible Saver!

I'm in grad school and

I'm in grad school and started couponing to help keep my living expenses down. With financial aid being cut all over the place it's really made a difference.

What a feeling!

Nothing beats getting something for free using coupons.  It is such a great feeling.

Coupons....my other job!

I am a married stay at home mom.  My girls and husband are my first priority.  My second, saving my family as much money as I can.  Coupons...clip them.  Triples at Harris Teeter is a great week.  Getting anything free = a great day!  And here I am on my first night of vacation, starting to relax and looking online for deals and info on coupons!

Woo Hoo Triples

My best find lately was the Chex Mix Muddy Buddy on sale at Lowes for 2/$3.  With the .75 Q from last weekend's paper, I got my bag for free!

Coupons

I usually save about 50% off my grocery bill using coupons.

I can typically save about

I can typically save about 50% every week of my grocery bill using coupons. My best shopping trip was about 80% savings!  Can't believe how much money I saved once I started couponing!

coupon giveaway!

love using coupons & I always look back and think about how I didn't use coupons when I had babies!  Kicking myself for all the money I missed out on saving those days!  But I have been couponing for about 3 and half years now and it is a lifesaver for lunch box deals and supplies for our family.  I coupon in all areas of my life now and it is rare when I go shopping and don't use a coupon!

Pumped for triples

This will be my first "triples" run and can't wait. My best run to date was at Lowe's this past weekend picking up $55+ in snacks for my students for under $10. I'm a HS guidance counselor so it's great to have plenty of treats on hand for my kiddos. :)

Yay! National Coupon Month!

I'm new to couponing, but I love seeing how much money I'm saving during each shopping trip!

Coupon savings

I have no idea how much I save, but it is definitely the greatest game in town. If I can't save a minimum of 50% off the regular price then I just pass on the deal since there will probably be a better deal down the road. i make very few purchases without the use of a coupon. Hey, if companies want to give me something for next to or nothing then I am going to take it.

savings

I keep a spead sheet with my savings for sales, coupons and rebates, and then my out of pocket cost.  For the past 3 years, I have averaged about 70% savings!

Getting the hang of it

I've just started couponing and am beginning to get the hang of it, consistently saving 50-60% off of my grocery bill.  Your website helps make the process so much easier!  I was signed up for your first coupon class and was totally bummed when it was rescheduled!  I'm really looking forward to learning some new strategies :)

what time for HT

I'd like to know what time in the morning HT will first accept these?  Can I check out at 8 am, for example?

found my own answer

7 a.m., thanks!

I keep my coupons in the

I keep my coupons in the car, always ready for a deal.  Since I cant use all the free and low cost items out there, I try to share the weath.  I donate at least 600 lbs per year to the food bank and lots of food to the backpack buddy programs.  I also give lots of HBA to other groups, too.  I love triples, but havent pulled my coupons yet, so not sure what I am most excited to get tomorrow morning.  Happy couponing all!

It's the comments... :-)

My favorite part about couponing is the occasional recognition I get at home. Just this weekend, my sweetie commented, "You've saved us a million dollars this year!" because I came home with a grocery tape that showed a 72% savings. Couponing is why retirement doesn't scare me.

Coupon Clipper giveaway

The best thing that's happened to my couponing is centsible saver!!

Coupon are $$$$

I save as much as I can with coupons for the things we need so I can treat my family to the things we love!

Coupons

I started couponing about 2 years ago and now get 3 papers a week delivered to my door.  I love watching the total go down when I hand the cashier the stack.  I can always use some more coupons!

Couponing! :-)

I started couponing in late June 2011. I love the money I save our family. I even share some of my items with my mother who is on a fixed income. I love sharing coupon codes for free Blockbuster movies with my husbands cousin as well. I hope to donate some of my items to others in need before long. Good luck to everyone in the giveaway! :-)

National Coupon Month Giveaway

I have been couponing for years and was able to send my daughter to France for 10 days with the money I saved !!  I would take tha amount that I saved each time I shopped and put it into an account for her trip - you would be surprised at how quickly it adds up.

Love couponing and this

Love couponing and this site.  Fairly new, but getting better.   Hate watching extreme couponing as no store that I am aware of lets you purchase in that quantity at one time.  Wonder if that is constant or if the store let them do it for the show.

couponing

I have been couponing for several years.  My favorite is when I get the organic/whole foods stuff on sale with either super doubles or triples.  I have gotten Kashi cereal as cheap as $1.50/box!  I also like when I can get shampoo and toothpaste for free and donate it to the food banks! :)

Coupon Giveaway!

Your blog is the first place I go to when preparing my shopping list for the week.  I match up sale items with my coupons and I manage to save at least 50%.  Thank you so much for doing what you do.

Couponing

I enjoy using restuarant coupons b/c the savings are so large and it makes eating out so much more feasible. I have 2 different coupons books for Raleigh with restaurant coupons.

Coupon Giveaway

I'm still new to couponing and this is my first triple coupons event! I'm super excited to see what kind of savings I get. Without my husband in tow, I usually save 50-60% on groceries. I am getting a nice small stockpile going, so hopefully I'll see my grocery bill go down even more. I like any meat coupons we can find since it's so expensive, but a necessity in 5 out of 7 meals a week (we're hardcore carnivores!).

Minute Rice Sale during Triples

My husband and children love rice.  The best deal was when HT had the individual servings of Minute Rice on sale and I had a coupon that triples.  I paid like $.17 each.

Coupon challenge

I have been couponing for more than 20 years and I love it.  I sometimes think I am a coupon addict because I don't like to buy anything without a coupon.  My friends don't quite understand how it works but I keep trying to show them that it really will help save them money.  I usually save at least 50% now that I don't have the children at home but I do send my daughter in college coupons to help her out and she is beginning to get the hang of it.  Sometimes I will just go out and pick up good deals and donate them just so I can use the coupon. i really appreciate sites like yours because you really help make iteasier for others to save,  Thanks so much.

coupons

I love to coupon.  But with a baby it makes it hard to find time.  :)  Love to get paid to shop!

Nicole

coupon giveaway

I really enjoy it when there's a BOGO on items where I can also use a coupon.

I'll be saving soon!

Im going to the coupon class next week and am excited to learn how to get the best deals!

Coupons

I've been couponing for almost 10 years but really got serious about 5 years ago.  I try not to buy anything for full price (other than a few staple grocery items) whether it's food, clothing, sports equipment, etc. My best deal was when I saved 85% at Harris Teeter during either super doubles or triple coupons.

Pass It On

My daughter grew up watching mom clip coupons, now that she is grown with her own family she clips her own ,we trade with each other, and she does a much better job than I ever have. I try to save about 25% each week but she often saves 80% to 90 % on a shopping trip. My tip would be always carry your coupons with you,you never know when you will find  a deal.

I'm new but love seeing all of these tips!

New to couponing.  Just been at it for a couple of months.  I love working with my neighbor(mom of 4) and myself(mom of 3 boys) to find the best deals.  This blog is great for helping to simplify my hectic life as I try to learn how to save my family (and other ladies in our church) money !!!  Thanks again for all of your help and these GREAT tips!!!

coupon queen

I love the $10 off when you spend $50 at Harris Teeter that I got from recyclebank.

Coupons!

My goal every for every trip: Spend half of what the original total is on the receipt. I also make sure to keep track of any special coupons that reward me in some way to maximize freebies.

I will use the $10.00 off a

I will use the $10.00 off a 50.00 purchase from Lowe's foods at Harris Teeter along w/ lots of other coupons! Can't wait!

Addicted

I love using coupons. My best deals are when I can use a $1.00 coupon for a .97 cents item and get it for free plus get cash back fromWalmart or have it applied to by bill. I stocked up on travel size deodorants and got all of them free plus change back. Can't go wrong with that.

Coupons

I must admit that I look forward to looking at coupons on Sunday and clipping those of interest.  I've been a couponer for all my married life.

Coupon woman

I have always used coupons for everything...travel, entertainment, clothing and of course groceries.   When my children were younger I would always say "wait, I have a coupon for that" to which they would reply "of course you do".  I always tell them  that is how I could afford to send them to college.  My daughter dubbed me "coupon woman" but now she is seeing the benefits of using coupons in her everyday life.

50%

I keep my coupon binder in the trunk of my car; I don't leave home without it! I consistently save 50% on my grocery bill and even more during SD and Triples. While my girls sometimes get tired of hearing "I'll buy it once I get a coupon and it goes on sale" my husband loves how much I save.

Best Coupons

My wife and I have been couponing for about six months now, and the best deal with got was at Lowes Foods, where we ended up with three boxes of Cheerios for .22 a piece! It wasn't supposed to be that low, but the register attendant doubled one that I don't think he shouldn't have, but it was great to get all the cereal for such a low price.

COUPONS!!

I have been couponing for a few years now and always try to at least save as much as I spend when I go shopping.  My best HT triples run was getting $180 worth of groceries for about $10...I haven't beat that one yet!  I also love it when a manager has to come override the system because I have saved too much money--that never gets old! :)

Enjoying the challenge

Learning to coupon at the drug stores. Went to CVS yesterday. was able to stack several manufacturer coupons along with several CVS coupons (one for 30% total, one for $2.50 off total for my birthday, and one for $.50 off). Found some clearance items that I had coupons for too. My quick trip took me 45 minutes and I save over 75%. This is too much fun!

Coupons!!!

I love using coupons and find it a challenge to see how much money I can save for my family.  My greatest savings was 75% of my bill at Harris Teeter a couple years ago.  I kept that receipt for awhile...sort of like a trophy.  :)

My entry

I've been couponing since I moved out on my own about 7 years ago. I try to buy all of my pantry "basic" groceries at Aldi, and supplement with coupons elsewhere. Sometimes I get coupon overload, and go grocery shopping without my binder. I can never believe how much I spend without it!

I love coupons and try to

I love coupons and try to save as close to half my bill with discounts and coupons.  It hasn't happened in awhile but I also love when they have to call a manager to approve my savings.  I love that. :)
