NCSU named among best video game design schools

N.C. State reports the 2012 honor is its second consecutive appearance on the "Top Schools for Video Game Design Study" list from The Princeton Review.
The undergraduate program at NCSU received an honorable mention and one of only 50 institutions in North America to make the list.

The technology? It's electromyography, which has been adopted by Advancer Technologies to master a 6-button video game controller using nothing more than muscle contractions.

Nintendo slashed its earnings forecast by more than half Wednesday after announcing that its 3DS game machine, packed with glasses-free 3-D technology, won't be ready to go on sale for Christmas.
