NCSU launches educational video game project with $1M grant

N.C. State University researchers want to get middle school students into computer science to better prepare them for college. With help from a $1 million National Science Foundation grant, the NCSU team says game on.

Working with middle school teachers and administrators in state, the team hopes to create a video game that will help teach students computer science basics and skills.

Though homegrown here in N.C., their hope is to roll out the game nationally.
