How to find NCAA tournament games

Watching NCAA basketball games this year will be about like last year -- all the games spread out over CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV.

Here's the post we put together last year. That explains the whys and hows of CBS's coverage partnership with Turner Sports, and I think most of it still applies. You should be able to find the schedule of games at CBSsports.com or at NCAA.org.

The game allotment is the same as last year. CBS will air 26 games this time, including the Final Four and the national championship game. TBS will air 16 games, TNT will air 12 games, and truTV gets 13, starting with today's games opening matches.

How to find NCAA tournament games moved to cable

Watching NCAA tournament games will be a little different this year.

In a move to keep March Madness out of the hands of ESPN, CBS last year partnered with Turner Broadcasting System on a $10.8 billion deal which keeps the tournament in their control through 2024.

That deal also means that this year, many of the tournament games will be played on Turner cable channels instead of on CBS. That's both good and bad for basketball fans.

Lizard Lick Towing gets its own reality TV show

Josh Shaffer had a great story in today's N&O about the Lizard Lick Towing company out of Wendell getting its own TV show.

Until now, Ron Shirley and the gang have been featured on truTV's "All Worked Up." It sounds like "Lizard Lick Towing" might be more of the same -- just all Lizard Lick, all the time.

The show debuts on February 7. Read more from Josh about these colorful repo men.

Raleigh's "Dumb Daredevil" featured on TruTV show

It's not exactly the kind of thing you want recognition for, but a Raleigh man is getting some national TV exposure tonight on TruTV's new episode of "Dumb-ass Daredevils."

TruTV's "Hardcore Pawn" is an easy sell

I have a bit of a fascination with pawn shops. It's the mix of stuff, money and desperation.

So I was drawn to "Hardcore Pawn" (TruTV, 10 tonight), an entertaining reality show about a Detroit-based, family-owned shop. It has all of those elements, and since it's on TruTV, there's also lots of bleeped cussing. It's the earthy cousin of The History Channel's "Pawn Stars."

The Golds -- father Les, son Seth and daughter Ashley -- run a 50,000-square-foot store that will pawn almost anything. In the first episode, for instance, there's a donkey, a stripper poke, and a homemade cannon.

Meet Lizard Lick reality TV stars at Wake Speedway

The stars of TruTV's "All Worked Up" will be on hand for Fan Appreciation Night at the Wake County Speedway this Friday.

"All Worked Up" features Ron and Amy Shirley (left and center), owners of Lizard Lick Towing in Lizard Lick, N.C. (near Wendell), who have to do deal with really angry and sometimes violent people who lose it when their vehicles are being repossessed.

According to Ron, Amy will drop flag at the race and repo man Bobby (on the right) will drive the pace car. What's Ron's job? "Kissing babies, shaking hands," he jokes. "Anything to give back to the community." They'll also have t-shirts and hats for sale and will sign autographs.

"All Worked Up" airs on Monday nights at 10pm on TruTV.

Visit the Wake County Speedway site for more details.

Ventura & Seagal: Tough guys go head to head tonight

You have a daunting choice to make tonight at 10. Do you watch the former wrestler or the former action star?

"Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura" premieres on TruTV; A&E has "Steven Seagal Lawman."

Ventura's show features the former Minnesota governor and as he reminds you several times Navy Seal, investigating plots, schemes and claims to see just how true or false they are.

Lizard Lick gets "All Worked Up"

TruTV's new six-episode reality show "All Worked Up" is all about people who deliver bad news: process servers, code enforcers, repo guys.

It comes on tonight at 9.

Fulfilling the repo role is Wake County's own Lizard Lick Towing (Lizard Lick is about 20 miles east of Raleigh.)

What to Watch on Saturday: Eli Stone returns

Groomer Has It (9pm, Animal Planet) - The three remaining contestants must create grooming instructional videos.

Harper's Island (9pm, CBS) - An explosion destroys the marina as the surviving wedding party members try to leave the island via boat.

Eli Stone (10pm, ABC) - ABC finished up the unfairly-cancelled "Pushing Daisies" last week, so tonight they taunt you with another show you probably wish they'd kept around a little longer. Behold the last few eps of "Eli Stone."

Man vs. Cartoon (10pm, truTV) - A pair of rocket-powered roller skates are tested by a stuntman. For real.
