Ariah Graham helped the Wakefield High girls bring home three national championship trophies from the New Balance Indoor Nationals track and field meet in New York.

Tevin Hester of Granville Central won the 60 meters (6.72) and was fifth in the 200 (21.76) while Jonathan Addison of Enloe won the national high jump title (6-feet, 9 inches).

The junior varsity football game between Cedar Ridge and Cardinal Gibbons, which was scheduled originally for Hillsborough, will be played instead at the Raleigh school's campus. Kickoff is now set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cardinal Gibbons field.
