What to Watch on Monday: The final presidential debate

Switched at Birth (8pm, ABC Family) - In the first season finale, the trial ends with a surprising outcome. Also, Bay leaves with Zarra and doesn't inform anyone, and Daphne and Jeff's romance is revealed.

The Voice (8pm, NBC) - The battle round continues with Billie Joe Armstrong, Mary J. Blige, Michael Buble and Rob Thomas acting as celebrity advisors.

Presidential Debate (9pm) - The final debate between President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney airs on ABC, CBS, NBC, UNC-TV, Fox, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CSPAN AND CNBC.

Gossip Girl (9pm, CW) - Blair launches her debut fashion show, but a scandal erupts on the runway. Meanwhile, Serena makes a compromise to win over Sage, and Dan's first serialized article causes an uproar.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (9pm, Travel) - Moments from the past include a Haitian cemetery visited on the Day of the Dead, and celebrating Halloween with pal Zamir Gotta in Transylvania. Also, Bourdain recalls a fearful trip to Iraq.

What to Watch on Tuesday: A birthday bash and another debate

NC Gubernatorial Debate (7pm) - The second gubernatorial debate will air live on UNC-TV, WRAL, WTVD and WNCN (NBC-17) tonight. News 14 Carolina will broadcast the debate on delay at 8 p.m.

Hart of Dixie (8pm, CW) - Zoe discovers an error about herself in her alumni magazine, so she invites the reporter to town to set the record straight.

Raising Hope (8pm, Fox) - The Chances' plot to spring Maw Maw from a nursing home hits a snag when Virginia begins to wonder if she'll receive better care there than at home.

Ben and Kate (8:30pm, Fox) - Ben (Nat Faxon, left) throws a party to celebrate Kate's 21st birthday and invites her high-school friend Molly to the bash. Kate (Dakota Johnson, left) is only 21. That explains a lot.

Emily Owens, M.D. (9pm, CW) - In this new CW drama, Emily Owens, an awkward first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital, tries to balance work with romance. Tonight, Emily (Mamie Gummer) begins her internship and discovers her old high school nemesis working there, as well as a guy she had a crush on in high school. Adrienne reviews.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Jax presents a dangerous proposal to the club.

Covert Affairs (10pm, USA) - Auggie, Joan and Arthur call on an old friend to help free Annie from prison in Russia.

Flipping Out (10pm, Bravo) - Jeff and Zoila clash over her work responsibilities, so much so that Jeff considers firing her. Elsewhere, Jeff's client suspects her house is haunted, so Jeff spends a night there to prove her wrong.

What to Watch on Wednesday: A silly sitcom break between debates

Gubernatorial Debate (7pm) - The first debate between gubernatorial hopefuls Walter Dalton (D) and Pat McCrory (R) will air on WRAL, WTVD, NBC-17 and UNC-TV. News 14 Carolina will air the debate on a one-hour debate, starting at 8. A special edition of "Capital Tonight" will air on News 14 at 10:30 with analysis of both the gubernatorial debate and the presidential debate.

The X-Factor (8pm, Fox) - The contestants travel to Miami for a boot camp, where they'll be judged and singing, dancing and performance style.

The Middle (8pm, ABC) - Frankie loses her job at the car dealership and decides to enroll in a technical school. Meanwhile, Axl begins his senior year of high school and Sue mentors a freshman.

The Neighbors (8:30pm, ABC) - This show is incredibly silly, but it makes me laugh. Tonight, the Weavers take their alien neighbors to a local New Jersey mall to shop for school clothes. Meanwhile, Debbie worries that Jackie Joyner-Kersee and her husband Larry Bird have a secret agenda involving the abduction of her underachieving human children.

Presidential Debate (9pm) - The first debate between President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney will air on ABC, CBS, NBC, UNC-TV, News 14, Fox, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and CNBC.

Supernatural (9pm, CW) - Season 8 begins with Sam and Dean being reunited after a year apart. Dean departs purgatory and locates Sam, but Sam finds it difficult to leave the life he enjoys to join Dean on a new hunt.

Life After Top Chef (10pm, Bravo) - A new series traces the lives of four former "Top Chef" contestants as they pursue culinary careers in their home cities. We get Richard Blais in Atlanta, Jennifer Carroll in Philadelphia, Spike Mendelsohn in Washington, D.C., and Fabio Viviani and Los Angeles.
