Smoke-free at Peace College

Peace College is going smoke-free.

The Raleigh institution has announced that beginning Jan. 1, it will ban the sales and use of all forms of tobacco on school grounds and at all campus events.

Peace is the 20th university in North Carolina to adopt such a policy, according to the N.C. Health and Wellness Trust Fund.

Smoking cessation resources will be provided to students and staff free of charge, college officials say.
