Three coupon inserts coming in Sunday's N&O

Look for three coupon inserts -- one Smart Source, one Red Plum and the June P&G BrandSaver  -- in this Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer.

There will be a combined total of  166 coupons with a face value of more than $180 -- and that's before every-day double coupons, which we're fortunate to have at Kroger, Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods.

I'll have the coupon database updated and the very best of the Sunday deals posted early Sunday morning, about the same time your paper hits the driveway. That way, you'll have the most complete and up-to-date coupon information for the Triangle at your finger tips.

If you've been wondering how to best use the coupon database or have other basic coupon questions head over HERE to my Coupons 101 section to read some tips and gain other insight into the world of couponing.

Please note: Single-copy and State Edition papers may not contain all coupon inserts.

FREE McDonald's Cherry Berry Chiller

Remember that surprise freebie I hinted at in Sunday's paper?

Be sure to check your Parade magazine. You'll find a coupon for a free Cherry Berry Chiller peeking out of the top of the magazine.

This is a new frozen drink McDonald's is offering. These typically cost $2 and up so a great freebie.

There's also a coupon for $1 off a medium or large frozen strawberry lemonade, frappe or fruit smoothie.

The News & Observer's coupon database has been updated with all of Sunday's new coupons.

The home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains two inserts -- one Smart Source and a Red Plum -- for a total of 134 coupons with a face value of nearly $150.

Be sure to snag the coupon for a FREE Cherry Berry Chiller from McDonald's that's in the Parade magazine, along with another coupon for $1 off a medium or large McCafe frozen strawberry lemonade, frappe or smoothie.
