Jimmy Fallon's "Mad Men" Emmy promo (VIDEO)

Jimmy Fallon is hosting the Emmy Awards on August 29 on NBC.

This is greatness.

UPDATED: According to The Hollywood Reporter, some of the "Mad Men" Emmy rivals complained to NBC, claiming Fallon's spoofs amounted to running ads for "Mad Men" in the middle of voting. So the videos are down. Too bad - they were stylish, clever, funny. NBC said they may repost the videos after Emmy voting ends on August 17. Check back here.

What to Watch on Sunday: James Deaver novel comes to Lifetime

The Devil's Teardrop (8pm, Lifetime Movie Network) - An original movie based on a bestselling novel by Jeffrey Deaver in which a handwriting specialist (Tom Everett Scott, right) retired from the FBI helps a special agent investigate a serial murderer. All while battling his ex-wife (Rena Sofer) for custody of their kids.

The Uprising (8pm, Animal Planet) - A new documentary tracing the increase in aggressive animal behavior toward humans. They must have found about all that laboratory testing. Narrated by Richard Belzer ("Law & Order: SVU).

Speed of Life (8pm, Discovery) - A new Discovery series in which photographers capture images from nature with high speed cameras. Three episodes tonight: Africa's wildlife at 8, Central American Rain Forest creatures at 9, and predators and prey in the American Southwest at 10.

Hoarding: Buried Alive (8pm, TLC) - A new season of the TLC hoarding show which is almost exactly like the A&E hoarding show (which came first, incidentally).

Rubicon (9pm, AMC) - Katherine is still trying to figure out why her husband committed suicide and why he had a second secret home.  Meanwhile, David's son wants the motorcycle David gave to Will (James Badge Dale, left) just before his death, which leads Will to uncover another set of clues about David's fatal accident.

Army Wives (10pm, Lifetime) - Dr. Jill Biden guest stars as herself, visiting base to discuss challenges facing military familes whose relatives have been deployed. Read more about it here.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Don takes a trip to Acapulco while Lane and Joan have a major disagreement at the office. Also, Joan does a little family planning.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - The office Christmas party is nearly spoiled by the late arrival of a surprise and not-so-welcome visitor -- the bastard Lucky Strikes executive (played by Darren Pettie, left) who got Sal (Bryan Batt) fired last season.

The Gates (10pm, ABC) - A vampire slays a resident inside the Gates and Nick gets Dylan to help him find the killer, while Dylan's wife Claire tries to end things with Christian.

The Glades (10pm, A&E) - The dead body of a businessman is discovered just before the annual high school football Muck Bowl event, and Jim hits roadblocks when Pohokee's star player starts looking like a prime suspect. Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden guest stars.

About 'John and Marsha' from last night's "Mad Men" (VIDEO)

What to Watch on Sunday: The return of "Mad Men"

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - In the first episode of Season 4, titled "Public Relations," Don's reluctance to talk about himself blows an important interview with an big magazine, while the new firm of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce tries to woo the wholesome Jantzen swimwear company. Also, Pete and Peggy stage a stunt at a grocery store to get more ad money from their client, and Roger sets Don up on a blind date. Read more about the premiere in our review.

My Boys (10pm, TBS) - Season 4 opens with two new back-to-back episodes. In the first, PJ and her friends come to terms with the loss of one of their buddies, who moved to China for work (that's right, Jim Gaffigan does not return for this season). In the second episode, Mike is upset when the gang goes to a fancy restaurant without him, so he has his own grown-up evening with Brendan at an upscale bar.

The Gates (10pm, ABC) - Marcus looks into the disappearance of Theresa, and Nick may  have to enter into an alliance with a vampire who saved his life.

Army Wives (10pm, AMC) - An AWOL soldier is arrested after missing her deployment and Grant Chandler (Harry Hamlin) takes the case.

Entourage (10:30pm, HBO) - Drama gets off on the wrong foot with potential costar John Stamos, and Eric and Scott find common ground in advancing Vince's career and the future of their company.

Garner man a finalist in "Mad Men" casting call

Jeff Bowman, an actual "ad man" from Garner, is a finalist in AMC's Mad Men Casting Call competition.

Bowman entered the contest under the name Dapper Don, and is currently in the top ten in voting. If he wins, he will get a walk-on part in an upcoming episode of "Mad Men." 

Bowman is the sole proprietor and creative director at Bowman Creative, and does contractual creative direction and art direction for Ogilvy Durham, so he definitely knows the ad game.
