The News & Observer's coupon database has been updated with all of Sunday's new coupons.

The home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains two inserts -- one Smart Source and a Red Plum -- for a total of 134 coupons with a face value of nearly $150.

Be sure to snag the coupon for a FREE Cherry Berry Chiller from McDonald's that's in the Parade magazine, along with another coupon for $1 off a medium or large McCafe frozen strawberry lemonade, frappe or smoothie.

It's a good weekend for coupons, folks.

Look for three coupon inserts -- one Smart Source, one Red Plum and an extra Procter & Gamble in honor of Mother's Day.

There will be a combined total of 146 coupons with a face value of approximately  $196 in the home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer.

Let me just say, there are a few unusual coupons that we don't see very often and at least one coupon in the P&G that will yield a nice freebie.

Look for four regular coupon inserts -- one Smart Source, one Red Plum, the May P&G BrandSaver  and the Pepsi Moments to Save -- in this Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer.

Also be on the look out for a bonus Target insert containing 21 coupons good only at Target.

After a few one-insert weeks, it's a bit of a thrill to have a plethora of coupons from which to pick and choose.

Even so, I've tweeked the database, removing expired coupons and bolding all the coupons that will expire over the next week. That way, you'll be able to tell at a glance whether you're running out of time to use a coupon.

Sad to say, but I have yet to clear my binder of all those coupons that expired March 31.

The Centsible Saver coupon database -- on hiatus while I was away from the office -- is now officially updated with all of the new coupons that have appeared in The N&O since March 18 -- and there were a bunch.

(Remind me never to be away for two weeks at a time!)
