If you find yourself involved in an emergency grocery situation on Thanksgiving Day, fear not.

Most Triangle supermarkets will be open on Thursday until mid- to late afternoon to help out with those forgotten ingredients, last-minute bottles of wine or extra tubs of Cool Whip.

Here's a schedule:

Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods will be open until 2 p.m.

Food Lion will be open until 3 p.m.

Kroger stores will remain open until 5 p.m.

Aldi is closed.

Free Panda Express Friday night

If you're out and about after 9 Friday night and get a hankering for Chineese food, you're in luck.

Panda Express is celebrating its longer summer hours with a free serving of Orange Chicken for everyone who stops in with a coupon on Friday, June 1.
