Enter to win a Snowman, Santa or Elf ice cream cake

Baskin-Robbins is selling snowman, santa and elf cakes (pictured at left) during the month of December.

Like they did for the turkey-shaped cake for Thanksgiving, they offered a $31 gift card to a lucky Mouthful reader. These cakes, which serve 8 to 12 people, have a suggested retail price of $26.99. (You can use the gift card to buy a cake for your holiday gathering or stash it away for another occasion.)

To enter, leave a comment below this post before noon, Friday. I'll choose a winner at random and arrange delivery of the gift card. Good luck!

Holiday giveaway: Vintage sitcoms with a holiday twist

We're going way, way back for today's giveaway.

First we have "Merry Sitcom!" -- a collection of holiday episodes from some of television's most classic sitcoms. The DVD includes one Christmas episode each from "Father Knows Best," "The Donna Reed Show," "McHale's Navy," "Bewitched," "That Girl," "The Flying Nun" and "Window on Main Street." I have never heard of that last show, but the DVD calls it a "never-before-released episode."

If these shows appeal to you, you'll probably also like "Hazel," the early 1960s sitcom starring Oscar and Emmy Award winner Shirley Booth as "the sassy, energetic live-in maid who runs her employers' household with a little havoc, a lot of style and a lot more laughter."

"Hazel" was based on original cartoons from The Saturday Evening Post magazine, which is something I never knew till now! We have the complete second season, which is 32 episodes.

If you want to win these DVDs, send me an email by midnight tonight and you'll be in the drawing. Include your mailing address. I'll notify the winner tomorrow.

Holiday giveaway: See 'Parks and Recreation' from the beginning

Sure, we all know and love "Parks and Recreation" now. But about that first season...

Yes, it was a bit spotty (being kind), and many of us bailed on it. Now we're regretting it because subsequent seasons have been amazing and we're wondering what we missed.

We're giving you a chance to go back and right that Season 1 wrong -- or at least a chance to become a completist so you can say you've seen it all. The first season of NBC's "Parks and Recreation," which stars Amy Poehler as an enthusiastic small-town government worker, has much of the same cast as now, except the first season has Paul Schneider as the city planner (no Adam Scott or Rob Lowe). I think pretty much everyone else is the same.

If you want to win this, send me an email by midnight tonight and you'll be entered in the random drawing. Include your mailing address. I'll notify the winner tomorrow.

Holiday giveaway: An HBO comedy combo

Today we've paired up two HBO comedy series for you: "The Life and Times of Tim" (Season 3) and "Funny or Die Presents" (Season 2).

"The Life and Times of Tim" is an animated comedy series about a 20-something New Yorker trying to get his life together. We have the third and final season, which has all ten episodes.

"Funny or Die Presents" is a sketch comedy series based on the funnyordie.com website. It has a mix of scripted sketches, animated shorts and fake commercials and music videos. You'll see stars like Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Ben Stiller, Zooey Deschanel, Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly and many others.

If you're interested in winning this combo, send me an email by midnight tonight and you'll be in the random drawing. Include your mailing address. I'll notify the winner on Monday.

Holiday giveaway: Get started on 'Jane by Design'

ABC Family loves breaking up their series into volumes when releasing them on DVD, and they've done it again with "Jane by Design." We have Season 1, Volume 1 for our giveaway today, which is the first ten episodes of the series (and no extras).

"Jane by Design" only ran for one season (18 total episodes), which is a shame because it was actually pretty good.

The series is about a high school student (played by Erica Dasher) with a passion for fashion who, through a case of mistaken identity, lands a job as the assistant to a high-powered fashion industry executive (played by Andie MacDowell).

If you're interested in winning, send me an email by midnight tonight and you'll be in the random drawing. Include your mailing address. The winner will be notified on Monday.

Holiday giveaway: Season 8 of HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Today we've got Season 8 of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," the uncomfortably hilarious comedy from Larry David, one of the creators of "Seinfeld."

Season 8 is the New York City season, so the DVD extras include a "Roundtable Discussion with Larry and the Cast" and "Leon's Guide to NYC" (FYI: Leon is played by JB Smoove, a North Carolina native -- and one of the best parts of "Curb").

This most recent season also had some great guest stars: Michael J. Fox, Ricky Gervais and Mayor Bloomberg.

If you'd like to win, send me an email by midnight tonight and you'll be entered in the drawing. Please include your mailing address. The winner will be notified on Monday.
