Participating Sbarro restaurants will be giving away free slices of its new "Sbarro Skinny Slice" pizza on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Head over to the Sbarro Facebook page, hit the "Like" button and then click on the "Free Skinny Slice" icon.

The Sbarro locations at Cary Towne Center and Crabtree Valley Mall are participating, along with the Four Seasons Mall in Greensboro, the Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, the Plaza Mall in Greenville and Northlake Mall in Charlotte.

And just what is a Skinny Slice? It's a smaller slice of pizza, with Portabella mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, roasted green peppers, pecorino romana and mozzarella, topping out at 270 calories.

While you're on the Facebook page, sign up for the Sbarra Rewards eClub and you'll receive a coupon for a free slice of cheese pizza just for registering, along with special offers throughout the year, including one on your birthday.

The folks who make Nivea and Eucerin lotions are offering free samples of their products.
