Updated again Tuesday evening with unadvertised deals.
Here's an updated list of freebies and good deals for the upcoming Triple Coupon promotion at Harris Teeter, which starts Wednesday, May 16 and runs through May 22.
After doing a little price checking online and walking the aisles of my local Harris Teeter in Apex to verify sale dates, I discovered lots of sales that continue from last week. I've also added deals from the new sales circular. (My thanks to HotCouponWorld.com for posting the ad early.)
In this most recent update, I've also added numerous unadvertised deals.
All in all, it's shaping up to be a pretty generous promotion with plenty of freebies and items for under $1.
Keep in mind my list is specifically tailored to Triangle shoppers, using Triangle store prices and coupons readily available here, either through newspaper inserts, magazines or Internet printing. No sense getting frustrated looking for a deal we can't get here.
How does free pie sound?
Kroger is giving away free single-serve Marie Callender pies right now.
Dollar General has 2-liter bottles of Sun Drop soda on sale this week for 2/$2.
So it's perfect timing to use two $1/1 coupons from the 5/6 Smart Source.
That adds up to free soda!
Be sure to clip the .50/1 coupon on Gain dish liquid in today's Procter & Gamble insert contained in the Final Edition of The News & Observer.
Take it to Harris Teeter, where 9 oz. and 11 oz. bottles are on sale for 89 cents through Tuesday evening and you'll scored yourself a bottle of free dish liquid after every-day double coupons.
But no worries if you forget.
Next week, if the price returns to its regular $1.19, it will still be free during Harris Teeter's upcoming Triple Coupons event. You can read more about that HERE.
If you don't need dish liquid, please consider purchasing it and donating it.
Mother's Day is Sunday, but there's no need to panic, even if you're short on cash.
This year, there are enough freebies to keep her busy all day long. And she definitely won't go hungry.
Keep reading for the complete list of freebies, which includes free DVD rentals, free admission to an IMAX movie, free breakfasts, free lunch, free desserts and more.
I'll continue to update the list as the week goes on so check back often.
Take advantage of this generous offer from Walgreens to get a FREE 8x10 photo enlargement.
A Mother's Day gift, perhaps? Or grad gift?

Don't forget: Free Cone Day is today at Haagen-Dazs.
Ice cream lovers take note: Haagan-Dazs shops will be giving away free cones on Tuesday, May 8.
That's because Tuesday is "Free Cone Day" at participating stores.

Cinnabon is taking care of nurses this week with a free cinnamon roll for every nurse.
Show your ID badge at participating Cinnabon locations through Saturday, May 12, and get a free Cinnabon Classic Roll.
There are three Cinnabon shops in the Triangle, one at Cary Town Center, one at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh and one at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
