Renown Asheville forager Alan Muskat will be teaching a class Saturday in Chapel Hill.
At the Pickards Mountain Eco-Institute, Muskat will lead students on a walk through the woods and meadows looking for edible wild food. The students also will learn how to serve and preserve the wild foods in the institute's learning kitchen.
I wrote a story about Muskat earlier this year. Go HERE to read it.
The class is from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. It costs $45/person and and pre-registration is required. Visit NoTasteLikeHome.org or call 828-209-8599 to register.
