Ice cream lovers take note: Haagan-Dazs shops will be giving away free cones on Tuesday, May 8.

That's because Tuesday is "Free Cone Day" at participating stores.

You may be worn out and/or broke by Tax Day, which is Tuesday, April 17, but you definitely won't go hungry.

That's because restaurants are lining up with Tax Day freebies and discounts to lessen the pain.

There's free cinnamon rolls, free Chinese food, free fries, free frozen yogurt, free coffee, deals on bagels and chicken and wine, half price sodas, and a discount on more Chinese food.

The folks at Seattle’s Best Coffee want to ease the pain of Tax Day with a sample of their Levels coffee.

Claim the "Great American Coffee Refund" on the Seattle's Best Facebook page -- no paperwork required, just a short online form.

In celebration of Earth Day, Target will be giving away free reusable shopping bags to customers on April 22.

But in the meantime, the big box store has issued a set of coupons on natural, organic and earth-friendly products. There are 38 coupons with a combined total of more than $50. The coupons are valid through May 5.

Go ahead. Allow yourself to indulge in ice cream today.

It's Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's ice cream shops, which means you can stop by any location between noon and 8 p.m. today and score a free ice cream cone.

Today's the first day of spring and Rita's is celebrating.

The chain that serves up Italian ice is giving everyone who stops in a free regular-size Italian ice. Your choice of flavor!

The giveaway, a 19-year tradition, runs from noon until 9 p.m. Last year, Rita's gave away 1.2 million cups of Italian ice. Click here to find a nearby location.

Qdoba Mexican Grill will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a BOGO deal. No coupon required -- just a kiss.

Qdoba customers who purchase one entree on Tuesday, Feb. 14, will get a second entree free when they kiss someone in the restaurant.

It would probably be best to bring someone along to score this deal, but Qdoba suggests "an understanding stranger at the cash register" is not out of bounds.
