And be on the look-out for my next giveaway coming up next week.
OK, so there were no coupons in Sunday's newspaper because of the holiday weekend.
BUT, if you're a home subscriber to The News & Observer, your paper MAY* have come wrapped with a nice little coupon surprise.
Instead of the usual clear sleeve, my paper arrived tucked inside a colorful Food Lion ad that included a double-sided coupon.
On one-side: $5 off when you spend $15 on:
In today's N&O, Office Max is advertising 10-packs of Bic pens for 50 cents during this weekend's upcoming tax holiday.
Pair that sale with the $1/2 coupon from the 7/31 Smart Source coupon insert and you walk out with 20 pens for FREE.
And since the sale is during tax-free weekend, you won't even have to pay the two pennies in tax.
It's Friday so it's time for another round of freebies. Lots of good ones this week:
Here is one of those deals that's hard to pass up: $10 off a $10 purchase.
This one is for Pier 1 Imports, which I found on Twitter.
All you have to do is go to Pier 1's Facebook page here, click on the Daily Dealy link on the left-hand size, click the "Like" button and print.
I don't know about you, but I'll be heading over to Pier 1 after work to see what I can find.
I'll also be checking the Pier 1 Facebook page daily through the end of the month for new daily deals.
Spotted this week at Triangle grocery stores: a coupon for Cheerwine, the cherry-flavored soda bottled in North Carolina.
This is such a rarity in the coupon world that I thought it was worthy of mention.
I scanned my customer card at CVS today and out popped a coupon for $1 off any Pringles On-the-Go.
These happen to be $1 so that translates into a free 2.6 oz.-canister of Pringles.
Looking for a fine dining experience on a budget? Savoy has a number of options, depending on what that budget is. The restaurant is now offering three prix fixe meals, priced at $25, $37 and $49.
Savoy is also offering a coupon on its Web site, good for a $30 business lunch for two. It's valid Tuesday-Friday from 11:30am-2pm, through October 30.
If you've never been to this hidden gem in North Raleigh, here's your chance to sample the wares.
