Registration open for my next coupon class

Registration is now open for my next coupon workshop.

The three-hour Saturday class is scheduled for Jan. 28 and covers basic and advanced coupon techniques plus tips on meal planning and frugal living.

This class, which is fast-paced and fun, is great for anyone interested in learning how to save 50 percent or more at the grocery store or those who need a refresher course.

Thanks to everyone who came to coupon class today!

Thanks to everyone who spent their Saturday morning with me learning about coupons, rebates and holiday savings. If this is your first time reading the blog, Welcome!

I really enjoyed meeting all of you and hope you will make the Centsible Saver blog a regular part of your day as you look for grocery deals, freebies and holiday savings.

Look for new posts about savings opportunities seven days a week. And be sure to check in on Wednesday and Sunday mornings when I post the best sales and coupon matchups at the supermarkets and drugstsores -- all of them tailored to Triangle shoppers.

If you have a question, feel free to ask away in the comments section of the blog. You can also comment on the Centsible Saver Facebook page or shoot me an email at adunn@newsobserver.com.

Happy savings to all of you.

Holiday coupon class reminder

Here's a friendly reminder to all of you signed up for my holiday-themed coupon class tomorrow morning.

Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. at The News & Observer offices at 215 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh, 27601. We'll have a free breakfast for you and the class will start at 9.

Park for free in our employee parking deck. The entrance is on Salisbury Street between W. Hargett and W. Martin Streets, directly behind our front entrance on McDowell Street.  Look for the N&O Special Event Parking sign on Salisbury Street and take the first entrance into the deck.  We'll have employee volunteers on hand to greet and escort you to the meeting room for the workshop.

Don't forget to bring a donation for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. It will get you an extra door prize ticket. And I have to tell you, we have some great door prizes.

After class, I'll stick around to answer questions and swap coupons for all who wish to stay. So bring your questions and an envelope full of clipped coupons.

One last thing, if you need a coupon binder or supplies for your binder, the folks from the Coupon Organizer Pro will be on hand selling fully loaded binders, do-it-yourself kids, dividers and extra pages. You can check out the website at couponorganizerpro.com. Checks and cash only.

Looking forward to meeting you!
