NCHSAA committee told to get licensed trainers in every high school or drop football
Submitted by timstevens on 10/09/2008 - 12:33Dr. Kevin Guskiewicz told the Sports Medicine Committee of the N.C. High School Athletic Association that the General Assembly needs to mandate and fund full-time licensed athletic trainers in every high school. If schools don't have licensed athletic trainers, Guskiewicz said schools shouldn't field football, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls lacrosse and wrestling squads.
