With the Raleigh Christmas Parade and Trans-Siberian Orchestra's annual Triangle visitation both happening on Saturday, it's time to face the music: Premature though it is, the holiday season is well and truly upon us. Yes, I'm rather dismayed that we're running holiday preview stuff in today's paper -- 13 days before Thanksgiving, for cryin' out loud -- because I'm not ready for the season to start yet, either. But holiday-type stuff has already been happening, so I guess it's time to dust off the wreath and get on with the merriment.
