Just read a letter I found a bit disturbing. Checked out the website myself. Sure enough, the artwork is as this letter-writer describes. I have not talked to Mr. Avent myself and cannot vouch for this writer's account of their conversation, but the artwork is what it is. Click here to see it. What do you think?

The letter:
Tony Avent, the owner of Plant Delights Nursery, has chosen for his Spring 2012 Catalog cover "artwork" that depicts alleged child sex abuser Jerry Sandusky chasing small boys down a street. He is also selling T-shirts with this same image on it for $20.  I am appalled that he is trying to profit by exploiting victims of child sex abuse.  Avent has been contacted by numerous people, including me, asking him to remove this very offensive "artwork." However, he is defending it as being humorous.  I will not do business with a company that finds child sex abuse amusing.
