All of Tuesday's athletic events in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school system were cancelled or postponed due to the threatening weather across the district.
That includes four varsity events for Carrboro, three of which have been rescheduled for Wednesday.
Carrboro's cross-country team and tennis teams both will host conference events at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the Jaguar volleyball team will host Raleigh Charter at 6 p.m.
Tuesday's non-conference soccer match between Jordan and Chapel Hill has been moved to Oct. 20. School officials also opted to switch the site of a match next Monday with Cedar Ridge to Chapel Hill's home field.
A field hockey match between Carrboro and East Chapel Hill has not been rescheduled at this time.
Other events already scheduled for Wednesday — like Carrboro's soccer match at East Chapel Hill High School — are set to go on as planned.

The Tri-Nine Conference track and field championships, called off Wednesday in lieu of the tornado watch in the area, has been rescheduled.
Here's the list of everything that's changed as far as high school athletics goes. This weekend was going to be a huge one, so there's a lot left to make up.
The snowy weather and subsequent icy roads that took over our area on Friday, Jan. 29 caused a major headache for local high school athletic directors as they try to reschedule those games — including big conference match-ups — for a later time.
Wake County schools were canceled on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. When there's no school, there's not athletic events — that's the rule.

Tonight's football game between Cary Christian and Word of God has been rescheduled for Oct. 9. Game time will be 4 p.m. at Cary Christian.
It's nice and sunny outside, but the field are still too wet from yesterday's deluge to let Apex and Cary play softball tonight.
And people wonder why we haven't covered a lot of baseball and softball this year. Anyone know next week's forecast?
We're expecting rain on both Thursday and Friday (again) this week, so some teams have already began shuffling game times and dates. Here they are below:
The Apex girls' lacrosse teams were scheduled to play this Saturday at East Chapel Hill as a make-up from this past Tuesday's rain-out. That has now been canceled.
In its place will be a game at Wakefield. The action starts at 5:30 with the J.V.
