The Hollywood Reporter reports that ABC has canceled "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." The current ninth season will end with its 200th episode on January 13.

But even though the series is history, ABC will still air four "Extreme Makeover" specials each year. That eases the pain for you Ty Pennington fans, right?

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" filmed an episode this summer in Fayetteville, building a shelter for homeless female military veterans. The show came to Raleigh in 2006 to help the Riggins family on Poplar Street. 

At this time, approximately 100 of Raleigh-Durham International Airport's 400 daily flights have been canceled for today.
