Aquatic center powers up, re-opens

The Homestead Aquatic Center will open at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Aug. 27) after a morning closure due to a power failure. The power failure was caused by downed power line during the high winds. The power issue has since been resolved, and the facility is operational.

Town of Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation staff are prepared to reopen the facility and resume its normal schedule. For pool schedules, visit http://www.townofchapelhill.org/index.aspx?page=1123
