The United States team will open play in the World Baseball Classic on Saturday against Canada, and there will be several players with Triangle ties on the squad. Former Durham Bull Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves is the headliner.

ESPN and ESPN2 will televise 23 of the 39 games, including the semifinals and finals on ESPN, and all 39 will be shown on the Spanish-language ESPN Desportes. You can find the full schedule here:
