What to Watch on Thursday: Raleigh native gets Survivor screen time

Survivor: Tocantins (8pm, CBS) - Tonight it looks like we're finally getting a big ole dose of Raleigh's own survivor, Sydney Wheeler. Last week's previews promised that tonight she will "turn on the charm." If you can't wait for tonight, you can check out this video of her describing what it's like to eat Jatoba (smells like feet).

American Idol (8pm, Fox) - Anoop Desai of Chapel Hill and Ricky Braddy of Elizabeth City still have a shot at making it back into Idol. They were previously eliminated but get another chance tonight.

The Office (9pm, NBC) - Only about a month late, NBC gives us a Valentine's Day episode of The Office. Jim and Pam have an awkward lunch with Phyllis and Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration.

30 Rock (9:30, NBC) - John Lithgow and Patti LuPone guest star. LuPone will play Frank's mother (you will NOT recognize Frank!) and Lithgow plays himself.

Burn Notice (10pm, USA) - In the season finale, Michael has a showdown with his nemesis Carla. I love these cable dramas, but the seasons are so short!

What to Watch on Wednesday: Dueling supermodels

America's Next Top Model (8pm, The CW) - The season premiere of the Tyra Banks Freak Show.

Make Me a Supermodel (10pm, Bravo) - The season premiere of the Tyson Beckford Freak Show (season 1 host Niki Taylor is AWOL).

Top Chef: New York Reunion Show (9pm, Bravo) - I'm betting no one tries to fight or rip someone's wig off like they do in the Housewives reunion shows. But they do carry knives.

Damages (10pm, FX) - What's happening in the present (Patty going after the FBI) is interesting, but the flash-forwards to the future are what make our jaws drop open each week.

And as always, watch Life on Mars at 10pm on ABC.

What to Watch on Tuesday: The devil's pawn

The Reaper (8pm, The CW) - The second season begins with Sam, Sock, and Ben all losing their jobs and being evicted from their apartment (how timely). Then The Devil makes Sam chase down a man who escaped from Hell. And you thought your life sucked...

The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, part 2 (10pm, ABC) - Speaking of The Devil... This is the episode we've all been waiting for. This is when we find out if Jason has a soul or if he is the Devil's (ABC's) pawn.

Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - The Countess gives us an etiquette lesson. So go ahead and start practicing, "How-do-you-do, Mrs. Wi-ley."

Late Show with David Letterman (11:35, CBS) - A reader tipped us off that U2 is performing on Letterman every single night this week. Has anyone ever promoted a new album this hard?

What to Watch on Monday: Bachelor drama lands

The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - The two-hour finale followed immediately by the first After the Final Rose special at 10pm (there's another one tomorrow night at 10pm). We all pretty much know what's going to happen, we just need to tune in now to watch the train wreck and the tears.

24 (8pm, Fox) - We get two hours of Jack saving the world tonight.

Big Bang Theory (8pm) and How I Met Your Mother (8:30, CBS) - Finally some new episodes on CBS. On HIMYM, the gang suspects Barney (right) has a ... gasp! ... girlfriend.

Also, new episodes of Chuck, Heroes, and The Medium on NBC. The Medium has been strong (and creepy) so far this season.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon premieres at 12:35am, NBC.

What to Watch on Sunday: Spend the night with Tom Selleck

Jesse Stone: Thin Ice (9pm, CBS)Tom Selleck plays a handsome and morose small-town New England police chief who ends up in the middle of a Boston PD internal affairs investigation. The critics love this movie, the fifth in the Jesse Stone series. This one is pretty close to a sure bet.

Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - This might not be so horrible if it weren't for that whole Donald Trump thing.

Brothers & Sisters (9pm, ABC) - In a two-hour special episode, Kitty's adopted baby is born, and according to the ABC synopsis, the Walker family faces the "desperation and terror of loss when one of their own has a crisis." If someone has to 'maybe die,' why can't it be Tommy?! (Hint 1: Rhymes with Lob Rowe. Hint 2: Have some Kleenex handy.).

What to Watch on Saturday: Back-to-back Will Ferrell

Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby (7pm, TBS)Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly team up in this silly but funny account of the rollarcoaster career of fictional NASCAR legend Ricky Bobby (Ferrell, left). No NASCAR fan stereotype is left unturned.

Old School (9pm, TBS) - Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson, and Vince Vaughn star in this hilarious movie about three disillusioned men who try to recapture their glory days by opening a college fraternity for misfits. Jeremy Piven also stars. "You're my boy, Blue!"

America (9pm, Lifetime) - Rosie O'Donnell as a therapist treating an abused teenager in foster care.

What to Watch on Friday: Real Time with Bill Maher

Friday Night Lights (9pm, NBC) - Coach tries to convince Jamarca's angry parents to let him play football.

Dollhouse (9pm, Fox) - Unlike Thee Dollhouse, this show (by Buffy and Firefly scribe Joss Whedon) is worth experiencing. Here's a great interview with Whedon on NPR's Fresh Air last month in which he discusses Dollhouse, Buffy, Firefly, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - Maher's show returned for a new season last week (you can download the podcasts for free on iTunes if you don't have HBO). This week his guests include political satirist PJ O'Rourke, actor Alan Cumming, and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. One of the best parts of the show is Maher's New Rules.

What to Watch on Thursday: Some Kung Fu Panda fury

Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious 5 (8pm, NBC) - In this half-hour cartoon special, Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman reprise their roles from the hit animated feature to explore the history behind the original defenders of the Valley of Peace -- Monkey, Tigress, Mantis, Viper, and Crane.

Burn Notice (10pm, USA) - A woman from Michael's past shows up and asks for help finding her kidnapped son. Let's hope she's wearing a bulletproof vest when Fi sees her.

Survivor (2:07am, CBS) -  You read that right. 2:07am. WRAL and all their digital channels are showing college basketball tonight in primetime. So if you want to watch Survivor or CSI, you'll have to set your DVRs for the wee hours. Because the 2:07am time is approximate, WRAL recommends you set your system (vhs, dvr, tivo, etc) to record from 2am to 4am, just to be safe. Good luck.

What to Watch on Wednesday: Avenge the columnist!

Lost (9pm, ABC) - Locke's mission, as Jeremy Bentham, takes him off the island.

Life on Mars (10:06pm, ABC) - A slightly shorter episode tonight because of six minutes stolen by Lost (not fair!). Sam (right) investigates the murder of a newspaper columnist and is sure he knows the killer -- someone from another case 35 years in the future.

Damages (10pm, FX) -Will Uncle Pete regain consciousness long enough to explain his actions to Patty? Also, "Frobisher's past comes back to haunt him." I would think his broke behind is haunted by his past every day as it is.

Top Chef (10pm, Bravo) - The winner is revealed! I'm betting all my Mardi Gras beads on Carla.

What to Watch on Tuesday: How quickly can they make Gretchen cry?

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - The NCIS team travels to the desert to investigate the death of a fellow agent whose murder resembles that of an Arizona businessman. Mira Furlan (Danielle Rousseau from Lost) guest stars.

Real Housewives Confess (9pm, Bravo) - The witches from the 4th Orange County season reunite to hurl insults at each other. There's no excuse for the way Vicky and Tamra treated Gretchen this season. Or is there? Maybe we'll find out tonight.

Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - Buying hot pink loafers doesn't mean Simon is gay, right?

18 Kids and Counting (9pm, TLC) - The premiere of a show that I absolutely do not get, but at least these folks can afford their 'too many kids.'
