Wednesday deals (April 11-17)

Harris Teeter has multiple e-vic specials this week and some of them turn out to be pretty spectacular deals when you combine them with coupons. Kellogg's Raisin Bran for 72 cents a box, Yoplait Yogurt for 34 cents a cup and Maxwell House coffee for $1.57 are all worth a trip to HT.
At Lowes Foods, shoppers have the opportunity to shave a little money off at the gas pump when they buy select groceries. That deal is good for one week only. There are also a couple good deals using the new sheet of in-store coupons, including Jell-O for just 9 cents a box.
Food Lion has several good buys on produce, especially the red grapes for just 95 cents per pound.
And the fantastic deals on produce continue at Aldi, with $1 pineapple and cantaloupe, strawberries for 99 cents per pound and Anjou pears 99 cents for two pounds!

Wednesday deals (April 4-10)

With Easter just a few days away, all the supermarkets are offering big savings on ham -- some as low as 99 cents per pound on the cheaper cuts. But my absolutely favorite deal of the week is milk for just $2.69 per gallon at Aldi.

Wednesday deals (March 14-20)

The grocery deals are good this week, especially if you're willing to go that extra mile and shop two or three stores for the very best deals at each. Lowes Foods came out with a surprise set of store coupons this week; Harris Teeter is offering dozens of BOGO deals along with a handful of Buy 2, Get 3 Free deals. And for the second week in a row, Food Lion is offering double coupons up to 99 cents in the Triangle and Fayetteville.
All of the stores also have corned beef brisket and cabbage on sale in honor of St. Patrick's Day, but Lowes Foods has the lowest price on the corned beef at just $2.88 per pound.

Wednesday deals (March 7-13)

This week's supermarket headlines definitely belong to Food Lion, which is offering its first-ever double-coupon event in the Triangle. Click here to find out about those deals.
But at Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods, where double coupons are the norm, there are some equally good bargains to be had -- if not better deals in some cases.
How about a dozen eggs for 24 cents? Or a large jar of peanut butter for 60 cents?

There's no shortage of bargains to go after at the grocery stores this week with impressive deals at each of the stores -- many of them under $1. How do you like the sound of eggs for 97 cents a dozen, grapes for 97 cents a pound, toothpaste for a quarter, and a one-pound package of bacon for 49 cents?
In addition, Harris Teeter has got dozens of BOGO sales going on and with any luck, this weekend's coupons will match up with some of those sales. And Lowes Foods has launched an enhanced Fuel Rewards program that you'll want to take a look at. Aldi has its usual assortment of bargain-priced produce. And all of the stores have sales this week on fresh or frozen chicken.
