What to Watch on Saturday: WWE troop tribute and 'Story of Santa Claus'

America's Most Wanted: U.S. Marshals Special Edition (8pm, Fox) - Regular series episodes of this show are now on Lifetime, but Fox will have a few specials each season. This is one of them. U.S. Marshals Service's 15 most-wanted suspects are spotlighted, along with the work of federal marshals.

WWE Tribute to the Troops (9pm, NBC) - Pro wrestlers and other entertainers gathered at Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville on December 13 for the WWE's annual tribute to the armed forces. Featured performers were Nickelback (pictured),  Mary J. Blige, and George Wallace. And of course, there was wrestling.

The Story of Santa Claus (9pm, CBS) - An animated musical from 1996 that explains how a toymaker named Nicholaus Claus (voice of Ed Asner) started the tradition of delivering toys to every child on Christmas. I haven't seen this so I'm not sure how it varies from the official story of Santa Claus ("Santa Claus is Comin' to Town") but they better not take too many liberties here! Betty White provides the voice of Mrs. Claus.

Earth's Final Hours (9pm, Syfy) - A doomsday scenario unfolds after a super-dense fragment of interstellar mass pierces the earth's core and slows down the planet's rotation.

CMA Country Christmas (9pm, ABC) - This is a repeat but it's another chance to see Scotty McCreery sing "The First Noel." Other performers include Darius Rucker, Vince Gill, and Faith Hill.

Pit Bulls and Parolees (10pm, Animal Planet) - A pit bull and her puppies must be rescued from an abandoned home, and Tia's daughter has a difficult choice to make when her dog's health worsens.

Saturday Night Live (11:29pm, NBC) - SNL alum Jimmy Fallon returns to host, and Michael Bublé is the music guest.

What to Watch on Saturday: Holiday classics and Jeff Bridges on SNL

The Wizard of Oz (7pm, TNT) - The classic story of a Kansas girl's adventures in a magical fantasy world starring Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, and Bert Lahr. Repeats at 9:15pm.

Miracle on 34th Street (8pm, AMC) - Edmund Gwenn (left) won an Oscar for his portrayal of the ultimate department store Santa who goes on trial to prove he's the real Kriss Kringle. A  true classic also starring Maureen O'Hara and Natalie Wood (left). It doesn't feel like Christmas until you've seen this at least once. Repeats at 10:15pm.

Battle of the Bulbs (8pm, Hallmark) - A new Hallmark movie about neighbors Bob (Daniel Stern) and Stu (Matt Frewer) who launch a Christmas-decorating battle, and it's not long before the competition turns ugly.

WWE Tribute to the Troops (9pm, NBC) - Top wrestlers and divas perform in Fort Hood, Texas, in the WWE's annual tribute to the US Armed forces. Sherri Shepherd and Miss USA will also appear.

Ricky Gervais: Out of England 2 - The Stand-Up Special (10:30pm, HBO) - Ricky Gervais performs at the Chicago Theatre and talks about Noah's ark, the recession, famine in Africa, gay marriage and acts of God.

Pit Bulls and Parolees (10pm, Animal Planet) - Tia's daughters go to New Orleans, where a pit bull that had been tied to a post for days is rescued. Tia also saves an injured pit bull from the side of the road, and parolee Cameron makes a big decision.

Downsized (10pm, WeTV) - Todd learns of a job opportunity that could both hurt and help his family in the first-season finale.

Saturday Night Live (11:30pm, NBC) - Jeff Bridges is the host and Eminem and Lil Wayne are the musical guests.

What to Watch on Saturday: James Franco hosts SNL

Wizard of Oz (7pm, TNT) - The 1939 Judy Garland classic adaptation of L. Frank Baum's story of a Kansas girl's adventures in a magical land. If you haven't seen Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the Wicked Witch of the West in awhile, tonight's your night. The Flying Monkeys are a bonus. Repeats at 9:15.

The Three Gifts (8pm, Hallmark) - A new Hallmark original movie starring Dean Cain and Jean Louisa Kelly as a couple who gives a home to three orphaned boys. Read Adrienne's interview with Reginald VelJohnson, who also stars.

WWE Tribute to the Troops (9pm, NBC) - Highlights from WWE's seventh annual trip to Iraq to perform for the troops.

Saturday Night Live (11:30pm, NBC) - James Franco (right), fresh off his stint on "General Hospital" (that's right, "General Hospital") hosts SNL. Musical guest is Muse.
