If you're going out for a Valentine's Day treat but want to stick to a budget, here are three places to score Buy-One-Get-One-Free deals.
There's a hot coupon available on the Lindt Chocolate USA Facebook page -- $3 off a bag of chocolates.
Snag it before it reaches its limit and disappears.
Then take it to Rite Aid, where Lindt Lindor truffles are on sale this week for $2.99.
That's free chocolate.
Or take it to CVS, where the Lindt Lindor truffles are $3.50 for some chocolate on the cheap.
Either way, it's perfect timing for Valentine's Day.
If your sweetheart has a sweet tooth, Krispy Kreme has got you covered for Valentine's Day.
Buy one dozen heart-shaped or sprinkled doughnuts right now and you'll receive one dozen Valentine cards free.
Each card doubles as a coupon for a free doughnut.
Get the cards now through Feb. 14 or while they last.
Qdoba Mexican Grill will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a BOGO deal. No coupon required -- just a kiss.
Qdoba customers who purchase one entree on Tuesday, Feb. 14, will get a second entree free when they kiss someone in the restaurant.
It would probably be best to bring someone along to score this deal, but Qdoba suggests "an understanding stranger at the cash register" is not out of bounds.
I love a company with a sense of humor.
Click here to find a Qdoba location. Call ahead to be sure the restaurant is particpating.
Looking for a way to do Valentine's Day on the cheap?
Redbox wants to help you woo your Valentine with a FREE movie rental.
Head over here to the Redbox Facebook page and send your sweetie a love note with a code for a free standard movie rental. The code is good all day Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Have more than one Valentine? Send as many as like to all your friends and loved ones who are on Facebook.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to enter my Krispy Kreme doughnut giveaway for Valentine's Day.
The winner is: melpen.
I'll be sending the doughnut coupons out asap.
Have a happy Valentine's Day everyone.
Pick up some FREE chocolate at Walgreens this week.
Here's how: Snickers Valentine Creme Hearts are 50 cents each when you buy two. Use the $1/2 coupon from the Jan. 29 Red Plum 1 insert.
The coupon is good on any Mars Valentine's Day product. No size is indicated on the coupon so it works just fine on these bite-size one-ounce candies.
You'll walk out of the store just paying tax.
Can't beat free chocolate.
Krispy Kreme is serving up Valentine's Day doughnuts right now, along with a deal on FREE doughnuts for the folks on your Valentine list.
Buy one dozen doughnuts and you'll receive a sheet of a dozen Valentine's Day cards.
The cards are the look and size of the classic classroom exchange cards and include such sentiments as:
"You make my icing melt" and "I love you (even more than doughnuts)"
Even better, each card is good for a free doughnut. A 99-cent value.
Keep them all for yourself or give them out to friends and family.
The coupons are good through March 15.
