The Devils Ride (10pm, Discovery) - This new reality series explores life inside a motorcycle club with members of San Diego's Laffing Devils.

AFI's Master Class: The Art of Collaboration (10pm, TCM) - Examining the creative partnership between filmmaker David O. Russell and actor Mark Wahlberg, which includes "Three Kings" and "The Fighter."

What to Watch on Tuesday: A creepy 'River' and an 'Unforgettable' Jane Curtin

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - In the show's 200th episode, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) questions choices he's made when he stares down the barrel of a gun at a local diner.

The River (9pm, ABC) - In this two-hour series premiere, a TV explorer goes missing in the Amazon and his wife, who believes he's still alive, sets out with her son (Joe Anderson, right) and a documentary film crew to find him. It has a creepy "Paranormal Activity" vibe. Read my full review of "The River" premiere.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - Jess goes against Nick's wishes when she makes it her mission to befriend the loft's landlord, who is notoriously cranky. But in doing so, Jess inadvertently jeopardizes their living situation.

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - Burt, stressed out during tax season, blurts out a hurtful insult about Virginia's career, so she starts a new business as a tarot-card reader.

Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - A serial killer with knowledge of Carrie's memory skills taunts her and the police department as his list of victims grows. Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Curtin ("Saturday Night Live," "3rd Rock from the Sun") joins the cast tonight as a high-level inspector in the NYPD who until recently was running the Medical Examiner's office in Manhattan.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Mark and Sarah consider having a baby, and Amber lands a promotion she worries she's not qualified for (do not trust that politician, Amber!!!).

Southland (10pm, TNT) - Sammy cares for a dog after accidentally shooting it and Lydia and Ruben investigate the murder of a good Samaritan. Also, Ben and Lydia both brave monumental life changes.

Justified (10pm, FX) - A daring prison escape puts Raylan on the trail of two old foes, while Boyd confronts a traitor in his inner circle.

There's even more good stuff than normal happening at 10 p.m. now, so don't forget the DVR time-shifting strategies we discussed before.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Santa Schmidt on 'New Girl'

Glee (8pm, Fox) - As the holidays approach, New Directions get invited to to events scheduled for the same time.

The Biggest Loser (9pm, NBC) - The winner of the $250,000 prize is awarded in tonight's finale.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - The roommates attend Schmidt's holiday office party, where Schmidt (Max Greenfield, right) plays Sexy Santa. (More Schmidt! More Schmidt! More Schmidt!)

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - How cool was last week's homage to Marwencol? This week, Jimmy imagines a life without Hope when he enters a strange, dreamlike world where he never met her mother, serial killer Lucy. Meanwhile, the Chances go to the movies and are surprised to see cinematic versions of themselves on the screen.

The Conan One Hour Earlier Best of Spectacular (10pm, TBS) - Memorable moments from Conan O'Brien's show "Conan," which usually airs at 11. (Get it?)

Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - A renowned ghost hunter is killed and the investigation reveals that his death is linked to a chilling discovery he made while on a recent assignment.

What to Watch on Tuesday: 'New Girl' adds new roommate

Take a deep breath. No new premieres tonight, but still plenty of fresh episodes.

Ringer (8pm, CW) - Bridget discovers a possible clue that could lead to Siobhan's killer, and uncovers intriguing information about Andrew.

Frontline (9pm, UNC-TV) - The story of the Ground Zero Mosque is told from the perspective of Sharif El-Gamal, the real estate developer behind it, as well as the victims' relatives and anti-Islam activists who oppose it.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - This new sitcom opened to gangbuster ratings last week, which is cool. I just want Zooey Deschanel's character to be a little less totally helpless, so I'm hoping some tweaking begins tonight (Nerdy does not have to equal stupid, okay writers? Okay.). Tonight, the guys help Jess get her stuff out of her ex's apartment, and we meet Winston (Lamorne Morris), an old roommate who returns from playing basketball overseas and moves back into the loft. The Damon Wayans Jr character is out (you can find him over at "Happy Endings" on ABC, Wednesday nights at 9:30).

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - Sabrina can't keep her family hidden any longer after Burt learns a secret about them, so she introduces the Chances to her father (Stephen Root).

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Amber enjoys her independence while Sarah tries to maintain a connection to her daughter. Also, Jasmine wants to start datint but wonders about her role in the family (hint: You didn't marry Crosby so you aren't in the family!).

Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - Carrie works with a young boy who witnesses a murder to see if he can lead the police to the killer.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - A millionaire's new trophy wife is killed during a family deer-hunting expedition, and Megan immediately suspects and accuses the husband, which leads him to use his influence to get Megan pulled from the case.

What to Watch on Saturday: Time-traveling monsters and SNL premiere

It's not a bad night to catch up on fall premieres you may have missed earlier in the week. CBS is repeating "Person of Interest" (8pm) and "Unforgettable" (9pm) and NBC will show "Harry's Law" (8pm) and  "Prime Suspect" (9pm).

HGTV'd (8pm, HGTV) - Carter Oosterhouse transforms a boring bonus room into a hip, 1950s style home theater with a swanky lounge. He gives the space a classic Hollywood style but with high-tech amenities.

Morlocks (9pm, Syfy) - A movie about a scientist's time-traveling device that sends people into the future, where they come into contact with lethal humanoid monsters that figure out how to travel back to the present. Stars David Hewlett (right).

Masterpiece Mystery: Inspector Lewis (9pm, PBS) - Lewis and Hathaway investigate the poisoning at a religious college of an American female bishop, whom they suspect was slain for her progressive views.

Home by Novogratz (9:30pm, HGTV) - The Novogratz duo makes over a retail shop. They include custom birch-wood shelves, light boxes for a brick focal wall, and unique artwork for the lounge area.

Bad Dog! (10pm, Animal Planet) - A dog that won't sit still and an uncharacteristically quick turtle. (A/ Doesn't sound that bad to me; B/ Turtles aren't dogs; C/ I must not understand the premise of this show.)

Saturday Night Live (11:30pm, NBC) - SNL's 37th season opens with host Alec Baldwin and musical guest Radiohead.

THE NEW FALL SEASON: "Unforgettable"

As I watched "Unforgettable" (10 tonight, CBS), I imagined someone seeing the episode of "60 Minutes" with the report on the people with hyperthymesia -- that condition that allows folks to recall every moment -- and saying 'That could be a show!'

And so it is; a cop show, of course. Poppy Montgomery plays a detective who has left the force because remembering everything can apparently be tortuous. She's pulled back into police work when a crime is committed near her building and her ex-boyfriend (Dylan Walsh) happens to lead the local homicide unit.

"Unforgettable" doesn't live up to it's name; instead it's perfectly pleasant.

What to Watch on Tuesday: 'Glee,' 'Biggest Loser,' 'NCIS' (and others) return

Glee (8pm, Fox) - In the Season 3 premiere, the glee kids are depressed following their disappointing showing at Regionals, so Will assigns them a project to get them back on track. Also, Sue Sylvester is running for Congress.

Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - For the Season 12 premiere, new contestants are grouped by age and must choose their trainer. Tennis star Anna Kournikova and Dolvett Quince join Bob Harper to make up the trio of trainers.

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - In the ninth season opener, Tony's secret assignment for the SECNAV leads to an NCIS agent's death and leaves Tony and Gibbs to solve the mystery of how the tragedy occurred.

Dancing with the Stars (8pm, ABC) - Harry Connick Jr will perform on tonight's results show. A dancer will be eliminated.

NCIS: Los Angeles (9pm, CBS) - In the Season 3 opener, the team searches for Hetty in Romania, and Callen learns something new about his past.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - After a bad breakup, goofy Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel) moves in with three single guys. Is it as good as we all want it to be?

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - In the second season premiere, Jimmy is surprised to learn that he was once a talented singer until an accident involving a golf club shattered his dreams, so he enlists his family to help him get his creative juices flowing again. Pop singer Greyson Chance guest stars as a teenage Jimmy.

Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - A new show about a former detective (Poppy Montgomery) with a flawless memory consults on homicide cases. In the opener, Carrie helps New York police investigate her neighbor's murder.  Adrienne's take.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - In the Season 2 premiere, Megan's investigation into the death of a middle-aged man whose car plunged over an embankment leads her to a "Desperate Housewives" type cul-de-sac that's loaded with suspects.
