The Raleigh Vipers, the Raleigh Rugby Football Club’s Division 1 men’s team, is trying to raise $3,000 to help with travel and lodging expenses when the team competes in the Division I playoffs in Boston, starting with an April 30 game against the Boston Irish Wolfhounds.

Badminton national championships coming to Triangle
Submitted by teribb on 03/07/2011 - 03:25Big-time badminton is returning to the Triangle after almost 70 years.
The U.S. Senior National Championships will be played March 24-27 in Morrisville, hosted by the Triangle-based N.C. Badminton Club in conjunction with USA Badminton and the Southern Badminton Association.
