Submitted by Andrew_Carter on 03/10/2012 - 21:03ATLANTA — North Carolina and Florida State will meet on Sunday here at Philips Arena in the championship game of the ACC tournament. The Tar Heels will be seeking their 18th tournament championship, and the Seminoles their first.
And, oh yes, UNC is after something else, too: revenge. It was almost two months ago when Florida State embarrassed UNC in Tallahassee. The Seminoles’ 90-57 victory on Jan. 14 was the most lopsided defeat of Roy Williams nine seasons as the Tar Heels’ head coach.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — There were no words. After his team’s 90-57 defeat at Florida State on Saturday, North Carolina coach Roy Williams walked into the Tar Heels locker room, where the team gathered for its routine post-game prayer. Then Williams walked out, without saying a word.
