What to Watch on Saturday: Stars celebrate 25 years of Dollywood

Mississippi River Quest (7pm, National Geographic) - In this three-part series of shows, all airing tonight (7pm through 11pm), a filmmaker, a group of scientists, and a professional fisherman team up to boat the entire length of the Mississippi River. They battle flood waters, vessel trouble, and a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico while trying to complete their mission.

Dolly Celebrates 25 Years of Dollywood (8pm, Hallmark) - Dolly Parton's Pigeon Forge amusement park has been around 25 years and she's gathered a bunch of her friends to celebrate: Kenny Rogers, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney. Dolly sings a duet of "Jolene" with Miley.

Three Rivers (8pm, CBS) - The series finale of this transplant drama has Andy putting his patient at the top of the heart list, but the operation is in jeopardy when the police threaten to seize the funds raised for the surgery.

The Forgotten (9pm, ABC) - ABC is burning off two previously unaired episodes of this canceled Christian Slater drama. In the first episode, the team tries to figure out if a Jane Doe gunshot victim was the shooter's intended target. In the second episode, a young man awakens from a coma induced by a violent attack, and asks the team's help in determining his identity.

What to Watch on Saturday: Golf, cats, and bear poop

Housecat Housecall (10:30am, Animal Planet) - The episode we wrote about a couple weeks ago with Carrie Ann Inaba from "Dancing with the Stars" airs this morning. Here's our interview with Carrie Ann, in which she talks about her five cats and how Dr. Katrina Warren helped her and her boyfriend solve some of their cat issues.

US Open (4:30pm, NBC) - The third round of play in this major from Pebble Beach starts at 4:30 and goes on about all night. Snooze.

Three Rivers (8pm, CBS) - A female firefighter must decide if she wants to donate part of her lung to her captain, who mistreats her.

Dad's Home (9pm, Hallmark) - David James Elliot plays a single ad exec who loses his job and becomes a stay-at-home dad.

Man vs. Wild (9pm, Discovery) - Bear Grylls (left) recounts his top 25 moments from the show. I hope one his top moments is that time he ate a piece of apple he found in some bear poop.

What to Watch on Saturday: "Three Rivers" returns

Three Rivers (8pm, CBS) - An unaired episode from this canceled show (starring Alex O'Loughlin, left) about a team of organ transplant doctors. A bride is gunned down at her wedding, so the team attempts to harvest her lungs for transplant into a college basketball player. Yikes. Did I mention this is canceled?

4TROOPS (8pm, UNC-TV) - A concert from aboard the USS Intrepid in New York City by a singing group made up of U.S. veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Princess of Mars (9pm, Syfy) - An original Syfy movie about an American soldier who is mysteriously transported to Mars during a battle between two alien races. An adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' "A Princess of Mars."

Graham Norton Show (10pm, BBC America) - Graham Norton interviews Chris Rock.

Canceled: TNT axes "Raising the Bar," CBS pulls "Three Rivers"

TNT has canceled Steven Bochco's legal drama "Raising the Bar" after two seasons. The announcement from the network stated that the show's second season didn't attract the ratings needed to justify renewal.

"Raising the Bar" starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar (right), Gloria Reuben and Jane Kaczmarek. TNT is expected to make a decision on another bubble show, "Dark Blue," soon.

TNT recently picked up "Southland," an acclaimed cop drama canceled by NBC.

Meanwhile, CBS has pulled but hasn't officially canceled its new medical drama "Three Rivers" effective immediately. The show, about an organ transplant team in a Pittsburgh hospital, starred the popular Alex O'Louglin (left). It averaged about 8.2 million viewers since its September debut, but those numbers have been declining even with strong lead-ins from "Amazing Race,"

The Sunday night time slot will be filled with episodes of "Cold Case" and special CBS programming.

"Three Rivers" is expected to finish production on its original 13-episode order, but there's no word on when or if those shows will be broadcast.

What to Watch on Sunday: Seinfeld reunion, part two

Three Rivers (9pm, CBS) - If you heard that CBS cancelled "Three Rivers," it's not true. Tonight, a bus carrying a high school football team crashes, and a family has to make a decision about donating the organs of one student who didn't survive.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (9pm, HBO) - Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld mull over "show about nothing" ideas for the big "Seinfeld" reunion, including a discussion on an assistant's attire and religious symbols.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Hello "Desperate Housewives" writers? 1983 called and they want their cat fight back. That's right. Susan and Katherine fight (literally) over Mike. Because that's what all us women do when we're upset.

Werewolves: The Dark Survivors (9pm, Animal Planet) - A faux documentary that imagines werewolves really exist (they do!!) and explores their lives and behaviors.

Bored to Death (9:30pm, HBO) - George (Ted Danson) begs to tag along when a man from New Jersey hires Jonathan (Jason Schwartzman) to retrieve a sex tape over which he's being blackmailed. Unfortunately, Jonathan also becomes a victim of the extortion. Patton Oswalt guest stars.

Brothers and Sisters (10pm, ABC) - Gilles Marini is still hanging around as Sarah's French lover. And Norah doesn't like him one bit.

My Antonio (10pm, VH1) - Antonio Sabato Jr reveals the winner of his heart, but not before one contestant demands a written contract promising he will be faithful. And we thought all these women were stupid...

What to Watch on Sunday: Seinfeld reunion and Entourage finale

Three Rivers (9pm, CBS) - The debut of another new medical show, this one about a transplant team in Pittsburgh and starring Alex O'Loughlin (left). Tonight, a pregnant woman needs a new heart.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Someone strangled Julie last week (and I tried very hard to care). The obvious suspects are from the new family who just moved in -- either the son Julie's tutoring or the creepy ass dad. But that's too obvious, so my guess is that Zach Young has gone nuts again and returned to Wisteria Lane.

My Monkey Baby (9pm, TLC) - I'm officially no longer surprised by any programming on TLC. This show is about a couple raising their pet monkey as a child.

"Three Rivers: Become an organ donor

It's pretty clear that's the message behind CBS's new show "Three Rivers," premiering tonight at 9.

The network has even partnered with Donate Life America to raise awareness; you soon might see a lot of lime green rubber bracelets.

So if you're planning to selfishly covet some perfectly good innards should you die, and you're fine with that position, you probably shouldn't watch this.
