What to Watch on Friday: "Friday Night Light" villains go after Tami

Friday Night Lights (8pm, NBC) - Tonight, the eeeevil West Dillon boosters go after Tami and try to bring her down. Meanwhile, Coach Taylor learns more about the history of East Dillon and their past football teams during homecoming week, and Jess is pursued by both Landry and Vance.

Whale Wars: The Aftermath (8pm, Animal) - Two new episode tonight, back-to-back. In the first, Watson discusses the use of intimidation, and at 9pm, Watson recalls an alleged shooting.

Good Guys (9pm, Fox) - A repeat of this new show's pilot in which a washed up cop (Bradley Whitford) is teamed with a doghouse rookie (Colin Hanks). It feels like a spoof of old school cop shows, fun with lots of action. Tonight's episode has the cops investigating the theft of a humidifier (it ends up much more exciting than it sounds). Nia Vardalos guest stars.

The Soup (10pm, E!) - In honor of the network's 20th anniversary, Joel McHale looks at mthe best E! moments of the last 20 years.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - One of Bill's guests is conservationist Phillippe Cousteau, Jr.  It's a good bet they're going to be talking about the BP oil spill.

What to Watch on Friday: Cable Guy's smarts are tested and Eureka returns

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader (8pm, Fox) - There's a serious danger of folksy redneck overload tonight, when Larry the Cable Guy is a guest on this Jeff Foxworthy game show.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - Tonight's the premiere of the second half of the third season (got that?!) of this hit SyFy (formerly SciFi) show. The mid-season cliffhanger of whether or not Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is actually fired will be answered tonight.

The Soup (10pm, E!) - If last week was any indication, Joel McHale will likely be making fun of over-the-top Michael Jackson coverage. Remember fans, he's mocking the talking heads, not the King of Pop.
