This doesn't happen every day, soap fans: a chance to meet cast members, both past and present, of the long-running NBC soap opera, "Days of Our Lives" -- right here in the Triangle.
Several former actors from the show have written a book called "Days of Our Lives Better Living: The Best Secrets from the Days Cast for Health and Life" and they'll be chatting with fans and signing copies at The Regulator Bookshop in Durham Monday night at 7.
According to a press release, the book "reveals the many secrets to how 'Days' actors sustain a healthy mind and body."
Appearing at The Regulator will be Daytime Emmy-winning Suzanne Rogers (right), who has played Maggie Horton for 40 years; Peggy McCay, another Emmy-winning actress who played Caroline Brady for 30 years; Lauren Koslow, who plays Kate Rogers; Bryan Datillo, who has played Lucas Horton since 1993; Drake Hogestyn, who has played Roman Brady (not really) and John Black since 1986; and Camila Banus, who joined the show in 2010 to play Lola Montez.
"Days of Our Lives" co-executive producer and author Greg Meng will also attend.
