The report also looks at whether America is safer now and how a decade of fighting has reshaped the country.

Flipping Out (9pm, Bravo) - In the Season 5 finale, Jeff gets the urge to flip houses again, bur realizes what he really wants is a home for him and Gage to settle down in. Also, Jeff must reassess Jenni's part-time status when a possible full-time employee is found.

Carson Nation (9pm, OWN) - In the Season 1 finale in Roswell, New Mexico, Carson helps a grandmother who needs a fashion makeover for a new career. An 8pm episode tonight is also new.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Season finales for "Hawthorne," "Memphis Beat"

30 for 30: Jordan Rides the Bus (8pm, ESPN) - An ESPN documentary about baseketball superstar Michael Jordan's flirtation with a professional baseball career. Read more in this review.

America's Got Talent (9pm, NBC) - The 12 semi-finalists perform, hoping for a spot in the top 10. The Carrboro dancer should be on tonight.

Shaq Vs. (9pm, ABC) - Shaq challenges hot dog-eating champ Joey Chestnut to a competitive eating contest.

Hawthorne (9pm, TNT) - In the season 2 finale, a construction accident causes an explosion, creating chaos at the hospital.

Memphis Beat (10pm, TNT) - Season 1 ends with Dwight (Jason Lee, right) investigating the shady past of a man with amnesia, and suspects the man may have ties to a cold case involving the murder of a little girl. Also, Lt. Rice faces financial difficulties after her husband steals a large sum of cash.

Rachel Zoe Project (10pm, Bravo) - Rachel styles Cameron Diaz and Demi Moore for the Oscars, and Brad stresses out during his first Fashion Week without Taylor.

"The Rachel Zoe Project": Superficial and proud of it!

Watching 'The Rachel Zoe Project" (Bravo, 11 tonight) is like taking a bath in superficiality and self-absorption. But I won't apologize. Sometimes after a day of thinking big thoughts, a girl needs a little me me me time.

And so I willingly lapped up this premiere and soaked in Rachel's overly emotional response to well, everything. (That's how she rolls.)

The season begins with the Internet abuzz with the news that bitter longtime employee Taylor is no longer on Team Zoe. (In case you want to keep up, here's a blog she's doing now and a denim line she's collaborating on, sold at Scout and Molly's.) Rachel's more sensible hubby Rodger, now officially the president of the RZ company, explains why to the rest of the staff, and Brad becomes the new top stylist.

What to Watch on Monday: DJ AM's "Gone Too Far" hits MTV

House (8pm, Fox) - Tonight we'll see the fallout from the death of the murderous African dictator played by James Earl Jones in last week's episode. Chase and Foreman must make an official report on the man's care and death, which was intentionally caused by Chase.

Gone Too Far (10pm, MTV) - This is the premiere of a documentary series by Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein (left), who died of an accidental drug overdose back in August. In this episode, Adam travels to his hometown of Philadelphia to stage a surprise intervention with a 23-year-old heroin addict who refuses to go into rehab.

The Rachel Zoe Project (10pm, Bravo) - It's literally the finale for season two, and it's a good thing because Rachel is literally so stressed out about her next fashion shoot that she literally wants to kill herself. If she survives that, Rachel is still literally going to die if bratty Taylor decides to quit her job, because Taylor leaving is literally the worst thing that could happen to anyone in the entire world. Literally. And just the thoughts of that happening make Rachel literally fall ill.

What to Watch on Monday: OTH and Gossip return, Leno hits primetime

Lincoln Heights (8pm, ABC Family) - As season 4 opens, the Sutton family must decide what to do after the earthquake. Should they stay or should they go?

One Tree Hill (8pm, CW) - Season 7 returns without series originals Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton. But what we do have is Nathan (James Lafferty, left), who is now in the NBA and facing a career-threatening accusation. Also, Brooke prepares a new fashion line, and Julian plans to produce a huge film.

Gossip Girl (9pm, CW) - Big changes for GG in season 3. The gang is now in college and Chuck and Blair are finally together. Serena returns from Europe with Carter, and Nate returns from abroad with a mysterious woman. Also, Dan befriends a classmate, played by guest star Hilary Duff, who will appear in several episodes.

The Jay Leno Show (10pm, NBC) - Jay goes all out this week with lots of big guests, and his first night is maybe the biggest. Jerry Seinfeld is up first, then Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kanye West are scheduled to perform. ABC and CBS have repeats tonight (and most of the week), so between that and the Kanye controversy, Jay should expect huge numbers for his first week, at least.

Rachel Zoe recap a la New York Magazine

My latest obsession (other than my adorable Baby G, of course) is Bravo TV's The Rachel Zoe Project. (Monday, 10 p.m.)

There are many, many, many, many reasons why I do not have time to be obsessed with this one particular show (I know, I know, Project Runway is much better), but I'm mysteriously hooked and now must know each week all the surreal drama (from Oscar dress snafus to the fuss surrounding being a no-show at a Marc Jacobs runway show) that goes on with Rachel, Taylor and Brad (who I just love. Love him, love him. Braditude or not!)

Bananas, I know.

Anyhoo, to help bring me back down to earth and shake some sense into me here's New York Magazine's hilarious take on last night's show.

What to Watch on Monday: Kevin Bacon directs "The Closer"

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - There's a female mutant ninja murderer on the loose, and a detective visits from El Paso to assist Brenda and the gang with the investigation. Also, Brenda's father arrives to escort Charlie (Sosie Bacon) home to Atlanta. The episode is directed by Kevin Bacon. No degrees of separation.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (9pm, NBC) - Goldblum up! To solve a murder, Nichols and Wheeler dive into the dangerous world of one of the most violent, terrifying groups in our society: Poets.

Hoarders (10pm, A&E) - This show is so hard to watch. But so unbelievably fascinating. Not sure if they can top last week's woman from Milwaukee who hoarded rotten food.

The Rachel Zoe Project (10pm, Bravo) - The second season of celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe's reality show begins in grand fashion, as Zoe and her bratty desk-obsessed assistants (Jeff Lewis would so fire them) are charged with dressing Cameron Diaz, Anne Hathaway, Demi Moore, Eva Mendes, and Debra Messing for the Golden Globes. Glitch! Turns out the bad economy gets in the way of rich movie stars acquiring the most haute of haute couture gowns. Boo. Hoo.
