What to Watch on Tuesday: An intense season finale for 'Justified'

History Detectives (8pm, UNC-TV) - Among items investigated by the detectives are a Kit Carson biography that may have belonged to his family members and a saddle linked to Hollywood stuntman Yakima Canutt.

The New Normal (9pm, NBC) - The baby is born in the one-hour season (and possibly series) finale.

Justified (10pm, FX) - In the intense Season 4 finale, Boyd and Ava are forced to move a body to save themselves, and Raylan's pregnant ex-wife Winona is threatened by the Detroit mob. I hope everything works out okay and the episode ends with Raylan (Timothy Olyphant, right) getting a haircut.

Golden Boy (10pm, CBS) - McKenzie catches a break in a case that's near and dear to her heart when bullets found at the scene of a subway shooting match those used to kill her brother several years ago.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - A murder victim's rabid neighbor bites Tommy, and after another rabies fatality, Megan calls on the new health commissioner to aid in their investigation.

Oprah: Where Are They Now? (10pm, OWN) - Omarosa discusses the death of her boyfriend, actor Michael Clarke Duncan. Also interviewed, Paul Michael Glaser from "Starsky and Hutch."

180 Days: A Year Inside an American High School (9pm, UNC-TV) - The conclusion of the two-part documentary chronicling a year at Washington Metropolitan High School in Washington, D.C.

Dancing with the Stars (9pm, ABC) - The first results show of the new season means the first celebrity will get the sequin-studded boot tonight. We're pretty confident it won't be our Kellie Pickler.

The Mindy Project (9:30pm, Fox) - Mindy's new neighbor may turn out to be Josh's ex-girlfriend Heather -- the woman who ruined her Christmas party -- but not if Mindy can successfully sabotage her rental application.

The New Normal (9:30pm, NBC) - David chaperones a Boy Scout and gains the respect of other scouts and their fathers, with the exception of one dad whose disapproval leads to complications.

Justified (10pm, FX) - Raylan tries to restore order to the Drew Thompson case. Next week's episode is the season finale.

Pretty Little Liars (8pm, ABC Family) - Aria, Emily and Hanna search for Spencer, unsure if she went off on her own or if "A" is behind her disappearance.

The New Normal (9:30pm, NBC) - Bryan basks in the Halloween spirit by decorating the house, going to a pumpkin patch to spot celebrities, and ruling over everyone's costumes.

White Collar (10pm, USA) - In the Season 4 finale, the guys are almost able to retrieve the evidence box from the Empire State Building, but their efforts are impeded by Senator Pratt, who hired FBI agents to find the box first.

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - Ducky and Jimmy disappear while transporting a body from a crime scene.

Cult (9pm, CW) - A tech expert aids Jeff in his search for his brother. Meanwhile, Skye voices concern about hidden messages in the "Cult" TV show.

Parade's End (9pm, HBO) - In the opener of this five-part adaptation of Ford Madox Ford's novels set in early 20th-century England, aristocrat Christopher Tietjens (Benedict Cumberbatch from Masterpiece Theatre's "Sherlock") marries Sylvia, a scheming socialite who may or may not be pregnant with his child, but he vows to remain faithful despite falling for an attractive young suffragette named Valentine. Part two airs at 10 p.m. and subsequent installments air Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The Mindy Project (9:30pm, Fox) - Mindy's reunion with an old crush, played by Seth Rogen (right), takes them down memory lane to the time they shared at Jewish summer camp, which just might lead to a rekindling of their adolescent romance.

The New Normal (9:30pm, NBC) - The gang wants to throw a baby shower for a reluctant Brian and David, who decide to donate all their baby gifts to an adoption agency.

Golden Boy (10pm, CBS) - In this new drama, feathers are ruffled when a street cop (Theo James) is promoted to homicide detective. The series follows the cop's meteoric rise to becoming the youngest police commissioner in New York City's history, and the price he has to pay to achieve it. Chi McBride plays his partner and mentor. Adrienne has a review.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - In the conclusion of the two-part season premiere, Megan discovers why the serial killer targeted war veterans, but must keep the information to herself or risk the life of her daughter, who is being held hostage by the assassin.

What to watch on Tuesday: Doubled-up sitcoms and old school superheroes

Pioneers of Television: Superheroes (8pm, UNC-TV) - This installment looks back at TV superheroes from bygone eras, including "Superman" from the 1950s, "Batman" from the 1960s, "Wonder Woman" and "The Incredible Hulk" from the 1970s and "The Greatest American Hero" from the 1980s. Interviews with Adam West, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar, Lynda Carter, Lou Ferrigno, William Katt and Robert Culp.

Raising Hope (8pm, Fox) - Oh, these two back-to-back episodes of "Raising Hope" remind us that Fox has canceled "Ben and Kate." [INSERT PREFERRED CURSE WORDS HERE] The first episode is a bit of a weird crossover in which Sabrina's mom hires the "Modern Family" camera crew to film Sabrina's wedding to Jimmy (yep, they get married tonight!). In the second episode, the family takes Hope to Los Angeles for a taping of "Yo Zappa Do," but Jimmy's fear of flying means it's a road trip.

Henry Ford: American Experience (9pm, UNC-TV) - A profile of Henry Ford, the Ford Motor Company founder whose Model T in 1908 changed the auto industry. Ford also instituted the assembly line and investigated his employees through the company's Sociological Department. The documentary also details his anti-Semitism.

Happy Endings (9pm, ABC) - ABC has yanked the cruel-but-funny "Don't Touch the B in Apartment 23" for two new back-to-back episodes of "Happy Endings" from here on out. So it's a bad news/good news kind of thing.

Edge of America (9pm, Travel) - Host Geoff Edgers visits Pennsylvania, where he participates in a demolition derby, a haggis-eating contest, and a zombie-themed foot race.

The New Normal (9:30pm, NBC) - Bryan wishes to have a natural connection to the new baby, whatever that means. Also, Shania is upset to learn that her mother didn't breast-feed her when she was a baby.

Cougar Town (10pm, TBS) - Tom gets a new girlfriend and Bobby tries to improve his table manners on a pretend date with Ellie.

Ellen DeGeneres: The Mark Twain Prize (8pm, UNC-TV) - Ellen DeGeneres is honored with the 15th Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Among those paying tribute, Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Harvey, Sean Hayes, Jimmy Kimmel and Lily Tomlin.

Ben and Kate (8:30pm, Fox) - BJ helps Kate find a costume to wear to an attractive neighbor's Halloween party. Meanwhile, Ben and Tommy stay home and hand out candy in hopes of meeting women, but the evening takes a wild turn when Tommy accidentally eats some of BJ's "special" candy from Amsterdam.

Happy Endings (9pm, ABC) - Dave and Alex's inability to commit to a new apartment proves to be quite a challenge for their real estate agent, while Jane pulls out all the stops when she takes Penny car shopping.

Emily Owens, M.D. (9pm, CW) - Emily talks about safe sex to some girls at a local high school, and tries to forget about her feelings for Will.

Frontline: Big Sky, Big Money (10pm, UNC-TV) - How the Supreme Court's decision in the Citizens United case, which prohibited restrictions on the amounts of money that outside groups may spend to promote or oppose political candidates and causes, is affecting the senatorial race in Montana. The special also shows how the Obama and Romney campaigns use data analytics to increase voter turnout and shape the election.

Cuban Missile Crisis: Three Men Go to War (8pm, UNC-TV) - A documentary recalling the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, when the U.S. and USSR squared off over secret Soviet missile bases in Cuba. The report details the actions of President John F. Kennedy, Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev and Cuba's Fidel Castro during the 13-day stalemate.

Ben and Kate (8:30pm, Fox) - Kate wants Ben to be more prepared for emergencies, but he argues that he can't plan for everything. Meanwhile, Ben's ex-girlfriend visits and BJ falls for her boss.

Happy Endings (9pm, ABC) - In the Season 3 premiere, the rocky relationship between Alex and Dave is on-again, while an accident puts Penny in a full body cast and turns Max into her angel of Mercy -- until he gets an eyeful of her hunky physical therapist. Later, Brad tries to keep a secret from Jane.

History Detectives (8pm, UNC-TV) - Defense Secretary Leon Panetta helps return a North Vietnamese soldier's diary to his family. Also, the team investigates whether a notebook of liquor recipes belongs to a Prohibition-era bootlegger, and a ledger containing details on how Native American actors were treated.

Hart of Dixie (8pm, CW) - In the season 2 opener, Zoe feels torn between George and Wade. Meanwhile, Lemon returns her wedding gifts and makes strides toward independence.

Raising Hope (8pm, Fox) - In the Season 2 premiere, the Chances meet Sabrina's mother (Melanie Griffith, left) at a funeral for her grandmother. The grandmother's videotaped will has a big impact on Jimmy and Sabrina's relationship.

NCIS: Los Angeles (9pm, CBS) - The body of a retired marine is found at a bomb-making compound in Afghanistan, following a strike on the facility. The team investigates to determine why the soldier was there and if he betrayed the U.S.

The New Normal (9:30pm, NBC) - David plans a family dinner to tell his mother about the baby. Also, mother-in-law miseries plague Goldie and Shania fears her father will win a custody battle.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - A new enemy presents itself to SAMCRO.
