What to Watch on Saturday: SNL premieres with Megan Fox and U2

It's repeat night, so you can catch up on some of the premieres you may have missed earlier this week.

CBS has "CSI" with Laurence Fishburne at 8pm and "The Good Wife" at 9pm. If you missed "The Good Wife," you should tune in.

NBC airs "Law & Order" again at 8pm, followed by "Mercy" at 9pm, and "Law & Order: SVU" at 10pm.

ABC has college football -- Iowa at Penn State.

Also, "Making His Band," the P-Diddy reality show airs at 9pm on MTV. Wilson NC's Jamareo Artis is still in the competition.

And if you're hooked on "The Locator," as we are, tonight Troy Dunn will facilitate a reunion between a woman and the daughter she gave up for adoption. That's on at 9pm on We (channel 61 on cable).

The biggest news of the night is the premiere of "Saturday Night Live," with summer It-Girl Megan Fox and musical guest U2. A little SNL summer controversy involved Lorne Michaels cutting solid performers Micheala Watkins and Casey Wilson from the show. The very funny Watkins was known for her portrayal of Arianna Huffington and Hoda from "The Today Show." Michaels replaced Watkins and Wilson with two women from The Upright Citizens Brigade.

What to Watch on Saturday: NFL star searches for his father

The Office and Community (8 & 8:30, NBC) - If you missed the premieres of NBC's big sitcoms on Thursday, you have been granted a second chance to see two of them tonight. Michael Scott begs you to watch.

The Locator (9pm, We) - NFL football player Paul Spicer's parents split up before he was born. Tonight, Troy Dunn helps him look for his father. If you've never watched "The Locator," read this great article by TV Squad and you'll see why you should give it a shot.

Peter, Paul, and Mary: Carry it On - A Musical Legacy (9pm, UNC-TV) -  The story of Peter, Paul, and Mary with recollections from all three members of the group (Mary Travers passed away earlier this week). Archival footage includes concert and interview segments with a digitally processed soundtrack.

What to Watch on Saturday: Two Fox premieres and The Locator returns

Cops & America's Most Wanted (8pm, FOX) - Fox has premieres tonight for two long-running series: "Cops" (8pm and 8:30) and "America's Most Wanted" (9pm). "Cops" action takes place in Las Vegas and San Bernardino County, California. "America's Most Wanted," with host John Walsh, is searching for a Texas babysitter wanted for murdering a 2-year-old left in her care.

The Locator (9pm, We) - Season 3 of "The Locator" begins tonight with Troy Dunn helping a recovering alcoholic search for his daughter after 15 years of separation. Also, a terminally ill woman looks for her father, whom she hasn't seen since she was 12 years old. Major Kleenex potential here.

Making His Band (9pm, MTV) -  Diddy drops in unexpectedly on the musicians remaining in the competition. Jamereo Artis of Wilson, NC, is still in the mix.
