Durham composer Robert Ward has written a great deal of music over the years, including eight operas, seven symphonies and countless shorter pieces. But this right here is definitely what he'll be remembered for: It's part of the music he wrote for "The Crucible," an opera that won the Pulitzer Prize for music back in 1962.
