Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - I don't know if they can top last week's craziness, but Gary Busey is still around, so they'll try. Tonight the contestants organize a marketing event for a skin care product, and Busey's undisciplined approach jeopardizes the task.

In tonight's installment, Sir Hallam and Agnes Holland move into the Bellamy family's former residence, 165 Eaton Place. Agnes turns to a domestic employment agency run by Rose Buck (original series star Jean Marsh), who worked for the Bellamy family as a parlor maid. Here's a bit more info about what to expect in the new series, and a video clip. I never watched the first series, but I love 'Downton Abbey' too much not to give this one a try.

The Borgias (10pm, Showtime) - Tonight's episode (part three of a ten-part series) is particularly bloody and murderous. Cesare sends Micheletto to Naples to assassinate Cardinal Della Rovere, and young Juan is told he must kill a sweet Turkish prince.

What to Watch on Sunday: A big night for cable dramas

The Kennedys (8pm, Reelz) - This controversial mini-series about the Kennedy clan begins tonight. We didn't get an advance copy to view and we've only heard horrible things about it, which is a shame considering the cast: Tom Wilkinson, Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, and Katie Holmes.

Academy of Country Music Awards (8pm, CBS) - Seriously. How many country music awards shows are there every year? Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton host this one from Las Vegas. Miranda Lambert leads nominations with seven. Scheduled to perform: Lambert, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith.

Nature (8pm, UNC-TV) - "Outback Pelicans" looks at Australia's nomadic pelicans, which travel over 1000 miles inland to feast on fish and brine shrimp that appear in the usually dry Lake Eyre (which is the size of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico combined) whenever it floods.

Linden is played by Mireille Enos ('Big Love'). Billy Campbell ('Once and Again') also stars. Check out our review.

Mildred Pierce (9pm, HBO) - In part three of five, Mildred (Kate Winslet) opens her restaurant despite suffering a great personal loss. Thanks to Ida and Lucy, her business becomes the talk of the town. Mildred also grows impatient with boyfriend Monty's spoiling of young Veda.

Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - This is the one where Meat Loaf absolutely loses it.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Paul Young tries to stop Susan from getting his dead wife's kidney.

Army Wives (9pm, Lifetime) - The aftermath of Jeremy's tragic death leads to life-changing decisions for the wives.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - No, you're not crazy. This new Dana Delany drama normally airs on Tuesday nights at 10pm. Consider tonight a special ... treat? Tonight, a young interracial couple is found shot and killed in their car and Dr. Hunt finds evidence that contradicts the police theory of the crime.

'The Borgias' are indeed the original crime family

In the lush new Showtime drama 'The Borgias,' Jeremy Irons heads what the network smartly brands "The original crime family."

That correlation --  between the real Borgia clan of Italy and more contemporary crime families both real and fictional -- is marketing genius and extremely fitting.

The Showtime story of the Borgia climb to power begins with Rodrigo Borgia (Irons) essentially buying his way to the head of the Catholic church. The story builds slowly, with much of the first hour devoted to establishing the setting and tone of the series. Once Borgia is officially installed as Pope Alexander VI, things pick up. Because that's when all the murdering begins.
