Lost recap 6.8 - "Recon"

The latest recap from our "Lost" junkie, Luci Chavez:

(Note: I counted wrong. I didn't count the premiere, parts 1 and 2, as separate episodes. So this lovely little Lost morsel goes down as episode 6.8, a.k.a. "Recon.")

Hey, you choose to wait to see how much skin Josh Holloway shows in this Sawyer special, that's you're business.

SPOILER ALERT

Lost recap 6.6 - "Sundown"

The latest from our "Lost" junkie, Luci Chavez...

Sayid lost mano a mano.

I don't know what to do about it. It's one thing to be unemployed; quite another to see your TV hero get beat down. I hope Claire gets her real hair back soon. That wig is killing me.

Ten kinds of crazy in this episode. It took me two days to just let it sink in. Then I realized: OMG, I'm scurred!

SPOILER ALERT!

Lost recap 6.4 - "The Substitute"

Our "Lost" junkie Luci Chavez reports on last night's episode:

Oooooh! So that's what that's all about.

DO NOT READ ON IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODE. SERIOUSLY. I WON'T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.

I'm going to argue that the BIG THING revealed in this episode is not so big.

LOST recap 6.2 - LAX, part 2

Our "Lost" junkie Luci Chavez reports on last night's final season premiere:

Second hour of the season premiere. Welcome to the parallel universe known as Perdida. (It's a joke. It's a Spanish word. Look it up.) Read on at your own ask. What, you didn't watch it on Tuesday? For shame. (You can read part 1 here).

SPOILER ALERT after the jump!

LOST recap 6.1 - LAX, part 1

Our "Lost" junkie Luci Chavez reports on last night's final season premiere:

The wait was worth it. We know what the smoke monster REALLY is. But I can't bear, after the first hour of the Season 6 premiere, that I'm still so confused. I'm desperate to understand.

Lost is such a "have faith or else" experience. Very Catholic, that. But I have faith. Faith is strong in this one. (Great. Now I sound like Yoda.)

SPOILER ALERT. Read on ...

Final 'Lost' countdown: Liftoff

There are a gazillion unanswered questions going into the final season of "Lost" on ABC. I said three seasons ago I'd be happy if Lindelcuse explained 80 percent of it by the end of the series.

Still, let's focus on Season 6. (STOP HERE if you're planning to catch up on all five seasons sometime in the future.)

To countdown to the last season premiere ever (waah!) of "Lost" ... six story lines I think should be addressed by the series finale.

No. 1: Who's coming?

No. 4  How did the Others really save little Ben after Sayid shot him?

'Lost' recap 5.15: Follow the leader

We go into Lost episode No. 101 — "Follow the Leader" — knowing Daniel died failing to detonate the bomb to stop the big energy surge that sets in motion everything that leads to 815 crashing on the island.

Will anyone else pick up the Daniel baton? Will they even want to? Hmmmm. They're setting up next week's two-hour finale. Are you ready?  I can't hear you. Are you READY? That's better. Careful now. SPOILERS AHEAD.

'Lost' recap 5.12: Dead is Dead

Newsflash: On Lost, "dead" is not dead. "Dead" is relative. My only problem with episode 12 is the title. The witty dialogue between Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn, doing their varsity best as Ben and Locke, was worthy of a season finale.

Big Ben goes back "to be judged" by the smoke monster. Locke wakes from the dead. Apparently, that was a first for the island. Man, those guys are special. SPOILERS GALORE.

'Lost' recap 5.7

I gave up swearing for Lent.

This is a problem because I actually gasped near the end of this episode. I had to, not having a four-letter word at my disposal.

SPOILER ALERT: I advise you to stop whatever you're doing and watch this episode.
