Smallville (8pm, CW) - Lois Lane (Erica Durance, left) views a video her mom Ella Lane (Teri Hatcher) made for her before her death. The tape prompts Lois to make a major decision about Clark, which leads to her  encountering Jor-El and Lara at the Fortress (note to youngsters: Hatcher played Lois Lane in the 90s TV show "Lois & Clark").

Supernanny (8pm, ABC) - Jo helps a couple so preoccupied with trying to discipline their three older children (often by putting hot sauce on their lips) that they are in danger of neglecting their baby. They really should have named this show "People Who Shouldn't Reproduce."

Blue Bloods (10pm, CBS) - Jamie witnesses a crime in Chinatown and the suspect is killed while Jamie pursues him. Danny investigates and must solve the case to prevent Jamie from being the target of an Internal Affairs probe.

Sanctuary (10pm, Syfy) - Kate gains superpowers when an Abnormal adheres itself to her after gunmen breach the Sanctuary in a bid to steal the creature.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - The eighth season comes to a close with guests Nora Ephron, Michael Moore, Jessica Yellin, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, and Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak.
